Are the new heists actually worth the time they take to set up?

Hi everyone, I haven’t played GTA in ages and haven’t tried to make money in even longer but a few days ago me and a friend decided to try out the Diamond Casino Heist. I was just wondering if the trade off between time consumed and the final pay off is worth it if you were to compare it to say missions or deathmatches which give you smaller amounts but more often. We were just surprised by how many set up missions there are so I thought I’d ask, thanks

Is there literally any reason to do the other heists now that we have Cayo Perico?

I just got informed that you can do the Cayo Perico heist unlimited times and not 20 times as I thought for some reason and since I have earned 10 million dollars for me and 10 mill for my friend from this heist (which is 20mil in a couple of days) I wonder if there’s a single reason to play the other heists or is it just not worth buying the stuff you need for them (like an arcade for diamond casino heist) Is there a reason?

Is there a better alternative to this game? Like GTA without being GTA?

(WARNING: Major salt below. Like freaking Dead Sea levels of salt.)
Like holy shit. For a game that's been out for 7 years you'd think it would be able to function at a playable level or at least have some semblance of balance. I just wanna a good online crime sim with cool vehicles and weapons but everything in this game is ridiculously inflated to the point where you could 'grind' for hours and still only be able to afford a fraction of a car (Even the cars that have been from updates from YEARS ago have not gone down in price, like what the hell? I can't even access any of the cool shit in Story Mode either which is beyond infuriating). 'grinding' is essentially impossible in the conventional sense because you'll spend hours on ridiculously difficult missions fighting waves of bullet sponges for scraps of a chance for money. The constant errors and glitches don't help either. Take the heist prep delivery glitch for the yellow circle for example. Over a year ago my heist supplies just would'nt deliver for the Diamond Casino to the point where I couldn't progress at all. A year later and the same glitch is still present in the Cayo heist where I spend like 12 minutes getting shot at with supplies only to find I can't enter the Kosatka. Like really Rockstar? Over a year and you still haven't fixed this? I can send support tickets but they all lead to the response of 'oh we're aware and working on it!' Well clearly you aren't if its been this long! Don't even get me started on griefing, like who the fuck decided adding in the Specter from Saints Row was a good idea?! I absolutely LOVE getting fucking nuked by a dozen fucking depressors that I can't fight back against.
I really wish there was a strong competitor in the open world video game market to take Rockstar down a notch. Its super ripe for the taking seeing as how low the bar is with the state of online today. FiveM definitely has the right idea but even that is just a derivative of GTA. GTA Online is a game designed for junkies, to keep you glued to a screen spending hours to get overpriced items in hopes you'll just cave and buy microtransactions (which are also fucking overpriced. The Megalodon card is 8 mil and cost $99. 8 mil gets you like 1 property with all upgrades, FFS a yacht is 9 mil. You're telling me a virtual boat is worth 3x the retail price of your game? What kind of brain dead toddlers are buying these things?!)
If you're playing GTA Online in 2021, you've gotta be a fool, a junkie, or a masochist. Like fuck, there's gotta be a better alternative open world game than this shit. It has rekindled my interest in building a gaming rig just to play FiveM.
(I started writing this during a loading screen. I need to get outside more)

Less repetitive grinding options...?

Goodmorning citizens of Los Santos! Recently my sister (23) and her boyfriend decided to start playing GTAO; last time I was online I purchased the arcade for the Casino heist but never actually upgraded it and I never did the heist. I don't have the hangar and the penthouse (neither the yatch but that's pretty useless). I managed to buy the kosatka and did the Cayo Perico heist. I own every other business, that's to give you an idea of what I can access in terms of gameplay. At the moment we're grinding Terrorbyte missions with VIP works and from time to time we resupply my bunker and her weed farm (I know the cocaine lab is worth more but she was more comfortable with weed lol). I also know that with the Cayo Perico heist one can grind a ton of money solo and pretty easily but she's too newbie to follow me and make it easy. A few years ago I grinded like 250 levels doing only contact missions, last time I did some of those the game kept suggesting me other activities so at a certain point a playlist was the only way to keep the contact missions going. Now I feel that contact missions aren't worth the time and grind (plus I'm sick and tired of them).
My question to you is: could you suggest me some good ways to grind money without having to repeat the same missions over and over? I have no problems getting a solo public session and preferably I'd like to stay in a freeroam session (meaning Terrorbyte like missions and not MOC like missions). Most importanlty, am I already doing the best method? I'm afraid that my sister and her bf will get tired of repeating the same stuff over and over again.

Sorry if my question took that long but I wanted to appear as I know every inch of the game (at least until the Diamond Casino Heist dlc).
Thank you very much for taking the time to read and answer to this. (and excuse my english, not my mothertongue :) )

Respect Red Jacket Lupin the 3rd! (Lupin the 3rd Part 2)

"That just means the game isn't over yet! The goddess of victory will smile upon me, Lupin III!"
Required listening for this thread
Lupin III is the grandson of Arsène Lupin. He is the world's most wanted gentleman thief. Lupin is acknowledged by virtually every law agency on earth as the world's number one thief. Often in his adventures, he and his colleagues, Daisuke Jigen and Goemon Ishikawa XIII, will take it upon themselves to foil other criminals engaged in more violent crimes. While first glance may imply Lupin as fun-loving, flighty, perhaps even "goofy", his surface façade overcoats a brilliant imagination and a thorough knowledge of a hundred varying sciences. Forever extemporizing and reevaluating, Lupin has been responsible for heists no right-minded individual would believe possible. While arrested and jailed on numerous occasions, typically by his nemesis Inspector Zenigata, he has always managed to escape. He has a fondness for fancy gadgets from time to time plus hands-on experience in many skills a thief would find useful. His infatuation with Fujiko Mine is perhaps his most significant weakness, as it lands him in undesirable situations most of the time.

Equipment

Exactly what it sounds like. They are released to distract the motion sensors of an extremely secure museum
A rapidly expanding airbag.
Lupin's trademark blue and white boxer shorts double as an emergency parachute.
A small bomb that detonates when shot by Jigen.
A set of balloons that lift an Egyptian death mask display. Lupin also has a larger set they used to steal the Statue of Liberty
A briefcase containing a rapidly expanding balloon filled with knockout gas.
A small, golden coin with his face on it. When thrown, releases a giant Lupin-shaped dummy.
Several large barrels of explosive liquid set off by flaming rags.
A massive hang-glider shaped like a bat.
A grenade that, upon contact, expands into a massive blow up doll.
A decorative bracelet with a wire/chain on the end.
A pair of wings and an engine that extend from a handheld briefcase.
A massive bubble that protects Lupin from traps.
A nearly invisible hang-glider.
A small, silver ball that emits a loud bang, a burst of light, and rainbow confetti.
A large, green balloon with Lupin's face on it.
A paddleboat hidden within a larger boat's hull. The boat also has a large engine on the back
Several duck-shaped bombs that are capable of sinking large ships. They do not discern what they're blowing up, however, and can be dangerous. They can also be hidden
A dummy head that when stomped emits a thick smokescreen.
A dummy large enough for Lupin to hide inside. Can expand enough to lift a large truck
An electric gun developed by the same scientist who invented Lightsabers. Can cut through bullet proof glass, lift a store's worth of jewels and helps pull a building apart. It also instantly KOs Zenigata
Includes exploding chewing gum, exploding cigarettes, exploding cigars, an explosive hat an exploding head, a exploding lighter, a exploding mask, exploding navigation stick, an explosive suit, an explosive tooth, and an explosive watch
One of Lupin's left molars. Has a brevity of uses including a remote control for one of his vehicles, a computer that can analyze any drugs he's given, a pair of robotic arms that can throw the drugs back, a radio, and a lockpick
A small aerosol can that allows Lupin to lift fingerprints from a glass.
A small grenade that lets off a colorful explosion.
A remotely-controlled flying car. It manages to lift off the ground but nothing else.
A small device that opens a miniature black hole when used.
A grenade with a powerful knockout gas. Works fast enough to cover an entire oil rig in seconds.
A massive, propelled dummy of Lupin and Jigen that explodes with a giant boom and flash
A rocket fired from an RPG that, when detonated, sprays glue strong enough to stick several large ships together.
Pieces needed to assemble a working go-kart.
A small hang-glider that carries a single missile.
A standard hearse that turns into a helocopter.
A horse capable of outrunning several jeeps, dodging bullets, and running across a small ladder. Lupin has a way with animals that allows him to frequently use them in his escapes. Also he got a horse to do this once. I don't feel like trying to explain it.
A standard jetpack.
A pair of shoes which turn into personal jetpacks when activated by tapdancing. They can also be used offensively and for escapes
A small kusari-gama capable of swinging a car back onto an icy road
Works as a lighter and also can emit a powerful knockout gas. Also explodes when dynamite is strapped to it, as most things do and works as a communicator
A powerful drug slipped into Zenigata's drink.
A pair of magnetic hand grips that assist in climbing.
Standard marbles or ball bearings used to make a pursuer lose their footing.
A small kite able to carry Lupin.
A mini oxygen tank shaped like a cigarette.
A fleet of tiny RC cars, all remotely controlled by Lupin. Comes in Red, Green, and Yellow.
A breathing device kept in Lupin's jacket.
A gun that fires a suction cup dart that once attached pierces a glass window. It goes on to attach itself to a safe's dial. Lupin can control the dart remotely, cracking a safe from outside the room
A helicopter controlled by a small joystick.
Similar to his helicopter except it is controlled by a Gameboy-like controller.
A riding crop that fires miniature tranquilizer darts.
A bright light attached to a ring on Lupin's finger.
A pair of robotic legs that can be attached to an object. Strong enough to make a statue run through a wall.
A device hidden within an elevator that causes it to turn into a high powered rocket.
A pair of weights fired from an rpg. Used to wrap around submarines to weigh them down.
A small device created by Lupin that instantly cracks a safe.
A small silver sticker that delivers a massive shock "bigger than a stun gun"
A pair of knives fired from the tips of Lupin's shoes.
A small transmitter in Lupin's shoe that signals a nearby biplane. The plane has a large bomb attached to it.
A silver copy of Lupin's signature weapon. Lupin states it is "only for threatening".
An immediately effective sleeping aerosol.
Creates a thick smoke for quick escapes.
A pack of cigarettes that react when dropped in water to create a thick smokescreen.
A small bomb that can stick to any surface. The adhesive is strong enough a grown man cannot remove it and the explosion is large enough to topple a massive statue.
A car that doubles as a submarine with the flip of a switch. Allows Lupin and the gang to avoid a missile.
A pistol-sized gun that fires a suction cup on a rope. Strong enough to lift a man.
A car that can be driven from either the front or the rear.
Adhesive bombs with a set timer.
An umbrella that grows in size and operates that a helicopter's blades.
A small bomb that causes a big boom.
Allow Lupin to see hollow spots underground.
A propelled underwater vehicle. When surfacing, turns into a raft
A small machine Lupin wears around one of his teeth.
A small camera inside Lupin's watch. Can take and print photos.
Different from his normal grappling hook, this is attached to a pistol-like controller that reels it in.
A small dart fired from Lupin's watch that emits a trackable signal.
A sword made of pressurized water. Stated to be as "hard as diamond". During their duel, the blade cuts a door in half
A pair of wings that protrude from Lupin's car allowing it to glide.
A wingsuit.
A pocket-sized yo-yo.

Question: Kosatka or Arcade?

Before you downvote, hear me out. I've done the Cayo Perico heist with a few friends recently, and then I thought that instead of saving up for a Kosatka, I would firstly save up for an Arcade, as in my experiences the Diamond Casino heist is easier than the Cayo Perico (and a lot less stressful) and the payout is still pretty nice. So, tell me Reddit. Is the arcade worth it over the Kosatka in 2021?

Edit: I also find the Diamond Casino Heist more interesting than that approach for Cayo Perico.

explaining the economics of the Cayo Perico heist - Best payouts, fees and cuts. (is it worth it to bring a friend?)

Some days ago I made a post on the best possible payouts you could get, but forgot some variables. As such I have decided to, now that I am certain that I understand it, explain it to others since I still see many misunderstandings of how the heist really works.
Difficulty
When starting the heist it will either be hard or normal. You get the hard mode by paying the 25,000$ buy-in within 48 minutes of finishing your last heist. If you start the heist outside this 48 minute cooldown you will have normal mode.
What does the difficulty do?
  1. Hard mode raises the main targets value by 10%. a 1.000.000$ target becomes 1.100.000$ if it is done on hard mode. Notice that value of secondary target does not change.
  2. If you get Elite challenge then you get a 100k bonus reward, as opposed to the 50k bonus that you get on Normal difficulty.
  3. Every fingerprint hack will have one more fingerprint, and it will be slightly more difficult.
  4. The AI and cameras will have slightly larger vision cones
Elite Challenge
The Elite challenge is essentially a reward for flawlessly pulling off the heist in stealth. The requirements are:
  1. Under 15 minutes. Must be 14:59 or less, 15 exactly won't count.
  2. Everyone in the heist crew must have full loot bags when the heist is finished.
  3. You must not alert the guards
  4. Do not quick restart the heist, you must do it first try.
The main Targets.
There are 4 main targets that can be had at this moment. The first number displayed is their base value, second number is with the 10% increase in hard mode. In order of value:
  1. Sinsimito Tequila - 900.000/990.000
  2. Ruby Necklace - 1.000.000/1.100.000
  3. Bearer Bonds - 1.100.000/1.210.000
  4. Pink Diamond - 1.300.000/1.430.000
There is also the panther staute. This is a special item that will likely only be available during special events. Anyone that you have seen take it so far is either using mods or hacks.
  1. Panther statue - 1.900.000/2.090.000
Secondary Targets
Each secondary target gives a different pay, and some take up more or less space in your bag. The first number specified is how much a full bag of this secondary item will give, and the second number is how much of your bag one stack of this item takes up, so in the case of cash you will need 4 piles of it to reach the indicated value. From order of most to least profitable:
  1. Gold. 490.000 - 75% 1
  2. Cocaine. 450.000 - 50%
  3. Weed. 400.000 - 37%
  4. Cash. 385.000 - 25%
  5. Art. ??? - 50%. The value of art is random, it seems to be based on the specific painting but not certain. It always takes up 50% of your bag.
1 - The gold only spawns in the compound within rooms that require two people to use keycards at the same time, similar to the vault in the Diamond Casino heist. Therefore you need to bring at least one friend to get to the gold.
Mandatory fees
  1. There will be a Fencing fee of 10%, and Pavel gets a cut of 2%. If you have 1.4 million in your bags, then expect to loose 160k in fees.
Secret safe cash
There is a safe in Mr. Rubios office that contain small amounts of money. These do not take up space in your bag, but the amount is often miniscule. The value in the safe seems completely random, but I have seen anywhere between 50.000$ to 90.000$
Cuts - is it worth it to bring a friend?
You can do the heist solo. The smallest cut that another player can take is 15%. We will run a small experiment here to see if it is actually profitable for you - the host - to bring a friend or if they are going to be leeching from you.
Gold takes up 75% of a bag, so you need to find 3 stacks of gold to fill the bags of both people. this seems simple enough, I have seen 5 bags spawn, so there could theoretically be enough gold for 3 people.
Let's do a virtual heist with one person then do another with a friend. For simplicity this will not include elite challenge bonus nor secret safe cash.- here goes:
Only you:
Main target - Bearer Bonds, 1.100.000$
Secondary targets: 2x Cocain for 450.000$
Total take: 1.550.000
10% in fencing fees and 2% in Pavel fee: -186.000$
Host gets: 1.364.000
One friend, gold secondary.
Min target: Bearer bonds, 1.100.000$
Secondary targets: 3x Gold for 980.000$
Total take: 2.080.000
12% fees: -249.600$
15% cut of friend: 310.000
Host gets: 1.520.400
One friend, Cash only secondary.
Min target: Bearer bonds, 1.100.000$
Secondary targets: 8x Cash for 770.000$
Total take: 1.870.000
12% fees: 224.400
15% cut of friend: 280.500
Host gets: 1.365.500
TL;DR:
If you bring one friend then host almost always gets more money. You will break even with cash only as secondaries, and make a loss if some bags are not full of if you get some paintings. If you pick up any cocaine or Weed then you will get more money than if you were alone.

The Cayo Perico Heist is the Best DLC for GTA Online Since it's Release

People were letdown by the fact that the island is not freemode, as the heist is setup it would break the scope out. The island wouldn't be worth it to be freemode as it's not as interesting as I thought it would be.
The Cayo Perico island is small. The most prominent spots of interest is the party area, two docks, an airstrip, the main compound. The overall look of the island is rural and poor but the compound is mission revival architecture. So it's an island. In the mid tropics it's going to be covered in plants.
The plants are made out of concrete and to do the heist stealth its impossible to navigate the island. In my first scope out mission I spent the first half hour of the Cayo Perico dlc swimming around the island trying to find a way in. A thumbs down on the invisible walls and plants.
The lag is bad on the island. With so much vegetation rendering its impossible to hit a smooth framerate. The island is rendered in a freemode lobby. Often in a full lobby which makes gameplay a slide show at times. I have the one x and it's noticeable I can't imagine what it's like on base Xbox and Playstation.
The submarine, heist, and Pavel are really cool.
Pavel. I really like Pavel instead of Lester he has a good personality and it is a big change from Lester. Lester is baller but hes burnt out and I'm glad someone else is helping us with the heist.
The Kosakta submarine is reletively cheap at a base price of 2.2 million. Fully upgraded the submarine costs an upwards of 9 million. Honestly the only upgrade worth investing in is the Sparrow and the missile upgrade. Everything else I consider not a necessity. You can also drive the sub which I was surprised by. For 10k, after heist 2k, you can fast travel to various spots of the map.
The heist. This is the best heist to have released, in my strong opinion. Sure the base heists started everything and they will remain as a legend. The Cayo perico is better than the Diamond Casino and the Doomsday Heist.
The Cayo Perico heist is solo, cheap, easy, approachable, and with a great payout two solo heists will pay for the sub and sparrow upgrade.
For what seemed days you'd play a series of heists. Friends wouldn't always be on, randoms are dumb and stupid. Doing heist setup missions were impossible. But then the diamond casino heist came out with freemode setup but you still needed people for the heist. With Cayo perico you can do everything solo and relatively quickly. It's quicker than the diamond casino.
Even though people were let down this heist is still changing the game extremely, players can make 1.6 million in about an hour with this heist. That's crazy. Looking past the letdowns and lack of content this is really nice.
If you're new save up for the Kosakta and buy that instead of a facility or arcade.

Over 42 years ago the "Magnetic Drill Gang" robbed the Murwillumbah (Australia) Bank of NSW getting away with $2 million in cash. No one has ever been charged, no money recovered.

I had a friend who came from this town who told me all about it. It was widely considered to be an "inside job". Interesting that everyone involved has kept their lips sealed for all these years.
Forty years ago, a group of men known as the 'magnetic drill gang' broke into the Bank of NSW in the quiet town of Murwillumbah in the wee hours and stole almost $2 million.
To this day, no-one knows what happened to the cash — worth around $8.5 million in today's money.
The bank is now Westpac.
A country bank in Murwillumbah The bank is now the Westpac bank in Murwillumbah.(ABC North Coast: Donna Harper) The money — $1.7 million — and the gang, whose signature was to use an electromagnetic diamond-tipped drill, were never seen again.
The thieves broke through the bank's back door and used clever techniques to crack the safe open and lock it again, once they had stolen all the cash.
The following morning, a security guard found the back door ajar, and the vault locked from the inside. A locksmith tried to break the safe open, but failed.
Former Tweed mayor, Max Boyd, who was a councillor at the time of the infamous robbery, said a council work crew, who were repairing roads nearby, were called in to help.
"The robbers had spiked the vault door so the bank staff couldn't get inside to see how much money had been stolen, so a council work crew were called in and they had to smash a hole through the bank's thick brick wall to get access inside the vault," Mr Boyd said.
A bank official finally managed to get into the safe and told police "they got the lot".
This slogan was to become famous and was printed on T-shirts and beer glasses that were sold around Australia and the world.
Mr Boyd said many in the community thought it was an inside job.
"The crooks knew that the Murwillumbah branch of the Bank of New South Wales kept cash supplies from other banks in the area, so someone must have told them this as why would they target a country branch?" he said.
He said there were also suggestions that a new police officer in town or one of the security guards could have been involved.
A display of T-shirts and a beer glass with the slogan "They Got the Lot" and a cartoon picture of a criminal running away 'They got the lot' became a slogan for T-shirts and beer glasses, after the daring heist.(Supplied: Tweed Regional Museum) Mr Boyd said he and his brother, Jack Boyd, who was the state member for Byron at the time of the robbery, had concerns about gangsters leaving the big cities of Sydney and Melbourne to move into the Tweed Shire to start up criminal syndicates.
The Boyd brothers successfully stopped former premier Neville Wran's plans to build a casino in south Tweed Heads in the late 1970s.
"Jack was strongly opposed to the casino because he didn't want to see the underworld getting established up in this part of the world and he fought strongly against it during his time in State Parliament and I did too as a Tweed councillor," Mr Boyd said.
Mr Boyd said the famous robbery was part of the Tweed's colourful history, and he wondered if the case would ever be solved.
Police said the case was still open, and they welcomed any new information.
"Even though today marks 40 years since this robbery occurred, the NSW Police remain dedicated to arresting those responsible," NSW Police said in a statement.
"Anyone with any information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000."

Just some thoughts of the Cayo Perico heist from a casual newcomer.

So far I was only able to do 3 heist in gta online. The Fleeca Job, The Diamond Casino, and finally the Cayo Perico.
Fleeca Job was actually pretty neat. The difficulty matched the payout and it was a great introduction to heists. I didn't follow it up with Prison Break though since finding a non troll for the fleeca job was hard enough, imagine having to work with 3 more people.
Diamond Casino was amazing even though I was just carried by a veteran player. I might try that out again on my own but finding someone for the finale will be a little tough. I really felt like I was a heister and it was a better experience of heisting than payday 2. At least, imo. (Payday 2 felt boring and tedious) and the payout was just as good.
And finally, the Cayo Perico. At first I was hesitant to pay the 2 million dollar paywall since I was already struggling getting money with my bunker but I did it anyway since It's new and I want to relate to the subreddit and the maymays. Oh and it's because it's a heist that can be done purely solo which is a godsend. Still, knowing that the initial payout is only a million plus bonuses I couldn't shake the feeling that I wasted that 2 million.
Especially since the prep missions got a little tedious. Not the mission itself but rather getting there from the submarine which took me like 30 minutes since I only had a motorcycle and no aircraft. I still enjoyed it though. A good challenge despite not really getting anything from it aside from reaching the finale.
The finale to me is just the most frustrating and hardest part I've ever played in gta online.
At first it was smooth sailing since I was doing it stealthily, then one misplaced shot just alerted the whole island. It isn't like other stealth games where you can just lay low and hide from enemies so it won't go on alert oh no, instead the enemies would just keep on spawning near me and I had to deal with them or ignore them and go straight to the compound.
Keep in mind, I was only rep 50. I literally die in 4 shots. I also forgot to buy snacks because I'm an idiot. Nevertheless I reached the compound. Almost broke my stuff because of raging since I kept on dying. Still managed to get the files after being shot a million times which just made me almost lose all the secondary target money.
The escape was a pain as well. Just swarms of guards non stop harassing me and the chopper being pain but I soon realized I can just shoot it. It made me realize just how much easier it could've been if I was at max health.
In the end I finished the heist and got 1.4 million dollars. Which didn't feel worth it lol. I might actually start to look up guides when I decide to do it again but for now I'm just tired man. I spent my earnings to upgrade my bunker so I can at least earn something while doing the prep missions.
TL;DR Fun heist, hard as balls for a low rep casual newcomer shockingly, I just hope to get back the 2 million I spent and more.

QUADS: 400k(20%cut)-800k(40%cut) per heist (2mil each at end of cycle)
Plz correct me if my numbers are more then 5% or 10minutes off.
From what I see: The Cayo Perico Heist pays the lone wolf, but the Diamond Casino Heist pays more consistently in a similar amount of time for duos.
In my opinion right now Cayo Perico is worth it solely for the fact that you don't have to deal with Lester.
This is assuming you are doing cycles with your crew, where the whole crew or duo partner brings a heist to the table.

Casino heist tip for grinders - preps to skip

So some people on this sub seem to think you need to do all the optional preps when doing the casino heist, but this is actually a HUGE waste of time when trying to grind. You would make much more money for your time if you just skipped these preps, ran the heist, and then started a new one. TheProfessional on youtube explains it in this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M1QcKrudZoc
For aggressive approach, you only need duggan shipments and boring machine. Don't bother with patrol routes, you don't need to sneak around anyone. If guards are within a certain range they will show on your map even without patrol routes. Keycards only if you can't hack, or if you think you might fail while exiting casino, but theres only 1 door that uses it so if you're experienced you don't need them. EDIT: you don't need boring machine to access sewers, it is always available. Not sure why rockstar made that mission.
For Big Con, as long as you have the 54 playing cards, YOU DON'T NEED ANY OPTIONAL PREPS. I can't believe there are people here that think you need duggan shipments for big con, when you literally don't shoot anybody while inside the casino. Whats the point of taking their armor and weapons if you don't shoot them, or get shot by them? You shouldn't be getting detected on gruppe sechs, and if you're not doing gruppe sechs then you're not being time efficient anyway.. You don't need patrol routes because when escaping there are only 2 guards that you need to take out, then 1 to avoid, and they are always in the same hallways. Also only 1 door to hack while escaping, don't need keycard.
SnS is the method that benefits the most from optionals. Keycards are actually useful because there are multiple doors, and duggan shipments can be handy as well so you can take out guards from afar with your gun. Patrol routes are good if you don't know the guards' usual spots, same with security intel for cameras, but they're not necessary once you learn where they are.
Also don't do power drills, you shouldn't have that much time if you choose the minimal amount of people and the appropriate hacker.
For example, for art you should always run as a group of 2, with a cheap hacker like Yohan (5%). You have enough time to clear the vault, and save money since the hacker takes a smaller cut.
For gold, you can run with 2 people if you hack fast/get lucky with the layout, but if running with 3 you can use a cheap hacker as well.
If you get cash on scope out, just call lester and cancel heist. It takes the longest to loot and is worth the least. The extra profit you get from art/gold is worth paying startup cost multiple times over.
This week also has diamonds. You need 3 people to clear the vault, and paige gives more than enough time. I haven't tested it with cheaper hackers but it might work.

My trophy rankings of GTAV on the PS4

Hi there, so I platinumed GTAV a while ago and I ranked them based on difficulty, how long they took, and just generally how fun they were to achieve. This also is kind of a walkthrough of some sorts and includes tips for some of the more difficult ones. Oh and keep in mind that this is just my opinion, some trophies can be achieved easier by other people.
And there is some swearing in this, but that shouldn't be a concern considering this is talking about GTAV Pick option C at the end of the game so you don't miss any achievements
  1. Pimp my sidearm- works on any gun, recommend beating the game and then fully mod a pistol for the cheapest results.
  2. Los santos customs- beat the game and take franklins car (trust me, do franklin's car) and go to a Los Santos customs and buy every option
  3. A lot of cheddar- When you finish the game go to one of the stock websites and purchase every stock you can, which means you should be able to purchase 40 million worth of stocks at a time, do this until you unlock the achievement. This should take around 2 minutes.
  4. Out of your depth- Purchase a boat or call a taxi (if you do the taxi achievement before this one the taxi skips are free) and go to the ocean, drive or swim to the very end and swim down to find a shark, annoy the shark so he will kill you. Depending on how you do it should only take around 5-15 minutes.
  5. Off the plane- nothing needed to be said here, just complete it.
  6. Clean sweep- Just stay behind cover and purchase snacks and body armor, and use a gun like a pump shotgun or a one-shot weapon, such as the revolver.
  7. Trading pure alpha- you can do this anytime within the game, just purchase a stock and then kill yourself repeatedly until next to your stocks a green arrow pointing up appears, sell it and you should get the achievement. Can take up to 5 minutes if stock prices don't go up quickly.
  8. Three-man army- Play as franklin and call Micheal and Trevor and pick them up, get a wanted level and stay in your car, kill a cop so you can get 3 stars, and start driving away but still have the cops on your ass. Do this for 3 minutes and you should get the achievement easily. Make sure your car has some armor upgrades though.
  9. Alls fare in love and war- After beating the mission Mr.Philips you are able to purchase businesses when you're able to play as franklin purchase the taxi business for 200k and then you should get a call after a while, do the job and you should get the achievement. The missions themselves don't take a long time, maybe around 5-10 minutes, if you don't get the achievement to try to do another one.
  10. Red mist- After completing the Trevor Philips industries mission this will just look like standard strangers and freaks, complete it, and then the others should pop up after you finish the one before. Complete all 5 and you should get the achievement. Can take up to 30 minutes to an hour if you're not good at it, I recommend trying to get the gold for all these for another achievement.
  11. Altruist acolyte- There are certain markers that will appear as you get close to them, play as Trevor and go to the "Domestic" random event, there are a few closer to the location such as the hitch lifts but I wasn't able to spawn them. Drive to the cult and you should get the achievement after the cutscene. Took me around 10 minutes if you use the domestic random event.
  12. Wanted: Dead or alive: This will also appear as Trevor strangers and freaks, after doing it you will get an email giving a picture of where he should be hidden, you can search it up on youtube as I did and capture him, don't kill the target no matter what, deliver him to Maude and you should unlock the achievement. Took around 10 minutes.
  13. Kifflom! Play as Micheal and go to the Epsilon Program website, and pay the 1000 dollars to start this, I recommend using another guide for this but whenever you need to do something like wear the robe for 5 days just go to Michael's house and sleep until you are able to go on another mission, and when you need to walk around the desert for 5 miles just walk in a circle. this can take up to 3 hours if not done correctly.
  14. San Andreas sightseer- Purchase a helicopter for the quickest results but can be done using a car or a boat. Travel around and get 95% of the map uncovered, you can tell if it's uncovered by it being transparent, meaning you can see through the map. The reason why I recommend a helicopter is you also need to uncover the ocean as well, which can be done with a boat but the helicopter is faster, you can either steal one or purchase a helicopter hangar and a helicopter. Took around 5 minutes because I already had a lot of the map uncovered.
  15. Multi-disciplined- You'll need to get a single gold in only one of the shooting range challenges, triathlon, a flight school lesson, a sea race, a street race (which only franklin can do), and an off-road race. Complete all of them anyway for 100% achievement. This can take up to 30 minutes to an hour if you aren't able to gold one.
  16. TP Industries arm race- After beating the mission Mr.Philips you need to purchase the hangar after beating the mission, it should cost 100,000 dollars. You get a special marker for the dune buggy and the airplane, there are 10 in total, 5 for the dune buggy (which is mainly just collecting supplies) and another 5 for the airplane (which is also mainly just supply drops) After doing the two quick save your game and reload it for the two missions to spawn. Can take up to an hour if doing the quick save method.
  17. Crew cut- To easily finish this you either need to make a crew for a friend to join or join a friends crew
and play a contact mission with them to get the achievement.
  1. A new perspective- Just leave one of the characters in the first person and just wait for the 15 hours or play some of
the story in the first person, I just recommend leaving it on overnight.
  1. Calling digits- reach rank 20 and have 5000 dollars, call up Merryweather and ask for a backup helicopter.
20- stick up kid- rob every store on the map, can take up to an hour depending on how fast you move to each store.
21- enjoy your stay- for this achievement you need to play golf, play tennis, play darts, arm-wrestle,
win a shooting range challenge, rob a store, buy a lap dance, buy any clothes, buy a tattoo and change your hairstyle. Make sure you win or lose the sports activities because if your teammate leaves in the middle of the match it won't count.
  1. Three-bit gangster- Pretty simple since ranking up is easy, just play 3x or 2x events or contact missions for the best RP. Can take up to an hour or two.
  2. American dream- You're most likely going to need at least 1,000,000 dollars for everything, grind the 3x or 2x event or play heists for money.
  3. 4-bit gangster- Same as a Three-bit gangster but more grinding is required. Can take up to 5 hours of pure grind.
  4. Full refund- After rank 50 have a friend call Lamar so he can call a thief on you, kill the thief and take back your money. Takes around 5 minutes.
  5. The midnight club- You can have a friend let you win 5 races by going to the menu-jobs-races and then
invite your friend and have you win 5 with a custom vehicle, depending on the map you play on
(I recommend taxiing, takes around 2 minutes to complete it) this can take up to 10-30 minutes.
  1. Backseat driver- Do this with a friend, wait for people to join or join a rally race, and then guide them through the map. Once again I recommend making the rally race so you can play on a map you are familiar with.
  2. Run like the wind- I did this in a solo match, I stole a car, got a bounty, and survived a GTA day (which is around 48 minutes) Move around and don't get kicked, you can die by anything but another player. You can do this with a friend where they have Lester give you a bounty.
  3. Show off- Use an upgraded vehicle (preferably franklin's personal car) and search up a guide for all locations, ill put a link to the guide I used in the description, while most are easy 10 of them are a complete bitch, and took me around 15 minutes just to do one of them because of the requirements. This can take up to 3-5 hours.
  4. From beyond the stars/a mystery solved- I can't really decide on which one is harder so I will group them up into one, both took me around 3 hours to do since there are so many. You can use the rockstar social club website or use a guide on YouTube as I did.
  5. Waste management- After the second heist Micheal or Trevor and purchase the old dock for around 250,000 dollars, while it can be confusing just follow the dot on the map. Took me around 2 hours to do.
  6. Close shave- Look up a guide, it's pretty much required for this. Buy the buzzard helicopter for the under the bridge and keep in mind not to do too much damage to your helicopter or it won't count, while most recommend stealing a jet from fort zancuddo I instead bought the mallard for 250,000. Took me around 3-4 hours.
  7. Decorated- In GTA online there are certain rewards for doing certain things such as killing people with a pistol a certain amount of times, every single platinum that I earned were headshot kills, sniper kills (not sure how to be honest) Kill people using melee weapons, kill people using sticky grenades, kill players in GTA online, kill psycho's (I recommend doing most of these in deathmatches) win 10 waves of survival, (it's painful and achievement on its own), rob 20 stores which is also an achievement, pay for 25 lap dances (all you need to do is pay for the dance and then exit it) buy 25 haircuts, have a friend drive you around for a few hours (sit in a car with your friend in it, pretty simple one) Flippin hell (go to a stunt race with a flying car, get high in the air and do the flips) steal vehicles (pretty simple) Achieve the fastest lap in a race (can be done with a friend) land jumps 300 feet in a road vehicles win every deathmatch and race mode (can be done with a friend) participate in 25 races, buy 25 pieces of clothes (just buy 25 shirts) get the most kills in a 4 player survival (not too hard unless you camp all game, can be done with a friend) get the most kills in a gang attack (also can be done with a friend) shoot cop choppers down (when you get 3 stars start shooting the choppers down with a homing missile) win every race mode at least once (needed for 2 achievements) get a tattoo on every body part, win a race in a custom vehicle (needed for achievement anyways) wheelie for over 2000 feet (I don't remember getting this one, but the best way is to do it at the airport) Activate a 2 person key switch (I did this on the diamond casino heist) Complete the fleeca heist finale, do the aggressive approach on the diamond casino heist and earn 1,000,000 dollars and use the elevator on the diamond casino heist.
  8. Solid gold, baby!- Do the heist setups and the strangers and freaks, every mission and strangers and freaks I got a gold in (not including prologue) was
Franklin and Lamar, Complications, Fatheson, marriage counseling, friend request, chop, the long stretch, daddy's little girl, the good husband, carbon rifles, Mr.Philips, Trevor Philips industries, Deadman walking, did somebody say yoga, by the book, Tow truck, boiler suits, masks, The multitarget assassination, Mr.Richards, Hang ten, Fresh meat, The ballad of Rocco, reuniting the family, Architects plans, doting dad, fire truck, meltdown, stingers, every gauntlet, something sensible, the times come, every Pulling favors, every rampage, shift work, Grassroots Micheal, grassroots the drag, Paparazzo, paparazzo the sex tape, Paparazzo the highness, every vinewood souvenirs expect Al Di Napoli, Exercising demons-franklin, liquidy risk, minute man blues, exercising demons Micheal and Trevor, targeted risk, uncalculated risk, a starlet in vinewood, chasing the truth, the last one, delivering the truth.
I may have missed a few but those were the ones I counted, this can take up to 5-10 hours unless if you already have quite a few on gold. You don't have to do every single challenge at once, so you can try to beat the level as fast a possible, reload it and try to get as many headshots as required for example.
  1. Career criminal- This one requires pure fucking grind, let me tell you everything I did for the 100% completion. for hobbies and pastimes, I did Stunt plane time trials, 3 medals in every shooting range challenge, won every race (meaning offroad, street, and sea,) won every sport, got par or under in golf (getting par or under is required,) Bail bonds quarry and farm, every flight school mission, every arms traffic race (required for an achievement anyways,) got a private strip club dance, hunting, yoga and parachuting. Only franklin's strangers and freaks are required, my random events were the ATM robbery, Bike theft 1, construction accident, gang imitation, mugging 1, 2, and 3, security van 3, 4, and 6, sportbike theft, a countryside gang fight, a deal went wrong, and the drunk driver. To find out the spawn points of the random events go to the rockstar social club. All 30 misc were buying a haircut, weapon, any clothing, a car mod, a tattoo, and 5 properties, a vehicle from a website, ride the cable car, use the car wash, go on the rollercoaster, friend activities (meaning call up Micheal, Trevor, or franklin as any of the 3 characters) Visit the cinema, bar, play tennis, darts, golf, go to a strip club, 25 stunt jumps, 8 knife flights, rob a store, purchase stocks, watch T.V. (do at Micheals) complete a booty call (Play as Trevor in a strip club and get one of the girls like the bar to the max and drive them to their apartment) 25 under the bridge, walk and play fetch with chop, get 30 submarine pieces (one of Micheal's strangers and freaks) 30 nuclear waste (it's an achievement anyway) get all 50 spaceship parts and letter scraps (both achievements.) This can take up to 10-20 hours, it's a fucking pain.
  2. Unnatural selection- Holy shit, this took me so fucking long to do, me and 2 other friends grinded for 10 hours straight and couldn't even beat it. Buy max snacks and body armor and the best map to do is the nuclear silo,
there is a certain hiding spot near the stairs and the stairwell that if you hide behind it's super difficult to get shot unless you peak for too long. Use the combat MG, does a lot of damage and can shred through enemy health, be careful at the beginning when getting health and armor not to be out for too long for else you will lose all your health and maybe even die. This took me prolly around 10-30 hours to complete.
  1. Above the law- This requires so much god damn grinding that I grinded for 3 days straight, I started grinding hard on level 67 and got to level 100 by doing the 3x event "Target assault race" But by the 3rd day, it was this stupid deathmatch where if you die you can come back to life by an enemy dying or some shit, heists are also good ways of gaining RP, and heist setups too. this took me around 10-20 hours to complete starting from rank 67.
  2. Numero Uno, the requirements for this achievement is to win a single Bike, Land, Sea, Air, Rally, and GTA-Race, win a Deathmatch, Team-DM, Gang-Attack, and Survival (10 rounds), and win Arm Wrestling, Darts, Parachuting, Golf, Tennis and Shooting Range. So not only do you need to complete the survival bullshit but more on top of it, now everything but a rally race, team deathmatch, and survival you can boost with a friend. But even then this still took me around 10-40 hours to complete due to the fucking survival bullshit.

[Concept] Los Santos Gala Heist

I know this is probably gonna die in new, but I got an idea for a heist inspired by Ocean's 8.
The Los Santos Gala Heist is a heist inspired by the Met Gala heist in Ocean's 8 where you steal a necklace off the neck of a celebrity. This heist will star characters from previous gens of GTA games and a cameo from Debbie Ocean herself, and will be played by 1 to 4 players, each choosing roles from four: nutritionist, busboy, journalist, chef. Vacant roles are filled out by crew members, some who are in for free, while others might take money or missions to convince.
Storyline: It is [year when heist is released], and Daphne Kluger(voiced by Anne Hathaway) has arrived in Los Santos Looking to start a newfound life with new wealth as Poppy Mitchell has become famous in the mainland US, causing Daphne to wash up. After much research, she finds that a priceless necklace from De Koch Diamonds usually hidden under a vault 50 feet underground is being exhibited at a museum, and will be worn by Poppy Mitchell(yes, her) at the Los Santos Celebrity Gala held at Davis City Hall. She enlists you to help find a crew of seven to help steal the necklace right off her neck. But the necklace is being guarded, and you must find a way to get it.
In the heist, you and your crew must big-con your way into the Gala. The heist goes as your hacker of choice gets through the camera feeds and marks the blind spot. Then, the player or crew member masquerading as a nutritionist spikes Mitchell's soup in the kitchen and delivers it to the busboy who then delivers the soup to her. As Mitchell dashes for the bathroom, the player or crew member disguised as a busboy must tail Poppy on foot as she reaches the bathroom, but her guards will be unable to enter.
The 'busboy' must then follow a new set of instructions involving the rotating magnet as a new type of hack they must do, and once the necklace is off the busboy must leave the area. Once the busboy leaves, Poppy will emerge from the lavatory without her necklace. As the nutritionist, now under a formal celebrity dress disguise picked up in the blind spot outside the lavatory, leaves amidst a crowd, the player masquerading as a journalist, who has a fake necklace on hand, must plant the fake in the moat nearby. Without being seen, the 'journalist'takes it out of the moat before a guard opens the toilet door where the chef hides to cut the necklace into four pieces, signaling for everyone else to come back as it was found.
The busboy must then stealthily hand over the necklace to the chef as the nutritionist leaves, and the chef must hide in a toilet inside the kitchen before the crowd leaves. The chef must use a pair of tweezers to cut the necklace, while being careful not to damage the diamonds. As the previously mentioned guard approaches the toilet, Lou gives a warning that the guard is about to break oipen the toilet door. Upon this, the journalist must plant and fish out the fake, turning the guard's attention away. The busboy then enters the toilet, and the chef hands the necklace over to them. The busboy must then hand the necklace over to the rest of the crew. The busboy, chef, journalist and nutritionist then leave via the crowd. Before this their weapons must be left in the by the entrance before the security checkpoint, and they pick up a new set of weapons outside. The necklace must then be delivered to the Villa base the leader purchased in a clean getaway vehicle that can range from a Taco Van to a custom Weazel News Rumpo.
For the CPU players hired for 2-3 players, they can range from characters like Pavel as a chef to Lazlow as a journalist. As for support crew like the Casino heist, characters like Georgina Cheng and Lester Crest as hackers to gunmen like Karl Abolaji and Charlie Reed make appearances. Rose Weil can be hired for free to make a dress that can track Poppy's health conditions and prepare for the vomit moment in advance, but she will take a good portion of the cut. Optionally, characters from Ocean's 8 like Nine Ball as a hacker and Amita as a 'chef' can be hired, but three missions must be done for them to unlock them as hirables(Support crew take cuts, but CPUs are treated like players in terms of cuts.). They take the highest cut, but make the take worth higher.(Nine Ball has a special ability among the hackers: she can create blind spots by editing cameras.) Optionally, The Amazing Yen can be hired for $3.5 million to steal secondary targets worth 6 million dollars max. The success rate and how much he takes depend on the four players' situations. If detected, Yen will get less and join the fight. If he gets wasted, you collect the targets from his body and run.
The secondary targets can be worth more in total than the necklace. The players cam steal them, but they will have to kill guards and, if Nine Ball is not hired, take out security cameras. The loot bag size is limited, though, just like the Cayo heist. Once the heist is done for the first time by the leader, Debbie Ocean shows up at the leader's Villa and congratulates them. She tells Daphne at the villa that the Gala will be held again, but with a different primary target on a different celeb: these range from a watch worn by Tyler Dixon to Cloe Parker's engagement ring, which she wears to the Gala.
The potential take can reach 1.5 million for 85% cut for a player if secondary targets are untouched, but can reach 7.5 million if Yen succeeds in getting everything. Cuts for support crew range from 5% to 10%. An Ocean's 8 character, however, will take 15%, take it or leave it. CPUs take no cut at all, however, so players don't complain about losing money to CPUs.
I hope you liked this heist concept. Let's updoot it enough to reach Rockstar's devs!

Lupin without Scaling

An exploding cigarette that makes an impressive explosion.
Cigars that explode when lit. Can be used a mini grenades.
A dummy head that expands enough to fill a large cage. Explodes with a thick smokescreen.
A remotely detonated lighter.
A disguise mask that doubles as an explosive.

A small aerosol can that allows Lupin to lift fingerprints from a glass.
A small grenade that lets off a colorful explosion.
A remotely-controlled flying car. It manages to lift off the ground but nothing else.

Update Lupin
