This guy is literally the biggest neckbeard dipshit I have ever seen. Smart money is he's 300lbs and sits at home every night for 8 hours, doing WoW raids with harem anime transparently overlaid using a UI add on, and his sounding rod inserted. It's perpetually incredible to me that some people's past time is posting as many messages and threads as possible without contributing anything of value. This guy has to be a momo alt.
There was a bug in an asyncstorage call that I wanted to squash before releasing. Also, the iOS App Store takes like a fucking day or two now (i.e., since like 2015), much more on par with the Play Store. I guess he hasn't pushed anything to the App Store in 2 years.
The project timeline was also 6 weeks. We're 5 weeks in.}

The app is rolled out to the Google Play Store. iOS is coming in a day or two, as Apple only reviews new submissions on weekdays AFAIK.

features

The app allows for all of the interaction available on the site, including subscriptions, donations, and messaging. The app is fully Safe Area aware, and thus is iPhone X compatible. Authentication uses the exact same endpoints as on the website, and pops open a web view for you to log in. Payments for subscriptions and donations use the same PayPal endpoints as the website, so unfortunately no Apple Pay or anything.

Toot toot, here comes dat boi's horn. I'm actually really pleased with the way I was able to slot the mobile chat in over the existing website client javascript.
The app is built on top of the latest version of react-native (needed for the new SafeAreaView class), 0.51. All chat classes which directly interact with DOM elements have been subclassed to instead manipulate mobile-specific view controllers. Aside from the benefit of sharing the same codebase between iOS and Android, being able to share chat's business logic is a major perk.
There is not a single module, as of yet, that is split off into 2 separate iOS/Android trees. I expect this to change slightly as I implement notifications; I'm very keen on implementing notification actions, allowing you to respond to messages directly from the notification. Tons of big name apps don't even do that shit, and I think it's one of the coolest things in iOS/Android.

permissions

"Photos/Media/Files (USB Storage)" because react-native's non-ephemeral key value store API, "AsyncStorage", has to read and write to your phone. I use this to store your stream view resize state and your last viewed screen. Google makes it sound like I'm posting all of your dick pics on reddit, but hey, this is why we're all free and open source software enthusiasts right?
"Device ID and call information" is needed I believe to add callbacks for the app leaving focus.

what's missing

Presently there is no notification functionality (toggleable, for messages, mentions, and stream live). Ceneza and I will have this going in the next week or so. Mention highlighting is also missing, which is easy. Google oauth doesn't like the way I'm embedding it, so I'll have to work on that one. Emotes are slightly f'ed up due to Android's lack of overflow visibility in its image rendering. This will be fixed once I set up my own emote bundling.
You also can't sign out. I had a library linked for cookie management when I was experimenting, but I removed it once I thought I didn't need it anymore. I'll probably end up adding it again.
I also need to figure out a good workflow to merge upstream chat changes and package up static assets like emotes and their corresponding json files.

what I need from you

Bug reports. Also, complain about UX and slowdowns.
My test equipment is limited to an iPhone X, Nexus 6P, and Nexus 4, and I've only seen incredibly minor chat slowdowns on the Nexus 4 when chat was moving so fast (that no one will know I'm a pupper). You guys get to all be beta testers and do labour for free.
No crash reporting right now, so please include OS version and device model.
One thing I haven't tested is donations and subscriptions. Let me know on that one. There's no reason it shouldn't work, as I get to the PayPal webview, but you never know.
Post them in this thread for now so everyone can vote, and try to see if someone else submitted it so you can upvote theirs instead of submitting a new one.
If the app ever gets open sourced, we'll move shit over to github issues.

6. If it runs on console or mobile, and your specs are better, you can run it on at least console quality.

Sort the game lists so they are not exclusive. Then you can search the game against one of the game comparison sites listed to see if it will run.
They all run AMD cards and AMD is using CYRI, so it doesn't match well to the Intel lists.

Just because your system meets specs, doesn't mean it will work. Games are sometimes riddled with bugs. I hear console gamers use this as an excuse a lot. If there are bugs on the PC version, console gamers should be wary that there might be bugs on the console version as well. And console games are much harder to get new updates to fix problems. Always check for game support at the various gaming company sites or community forums. Chances are you will find a fix.
