Don’t stress yourself over it lol the substories are okay, like any other Yakuza game, some are great, some are meh. Yakuza 3 is a bit of a slog anyway so just move on and have fun with the rest of the series. Aside from the content cut from all versions of the Yakuza 3 remaster, content originally cut from the western version of Yakuza 3, such as hostesses and 21 substories have been reinstated, giving it content parity with the Japanese remaster release. The English localization has been updated and brought in line with newer releases. If you're playing Yakuza 3 off of Yakuza 0/Kiwami/Kiwami 2, some of the character names have been translated differently than you might remember. The name of Kiryu's adopted father has been translated as Shintaro Fuma instead of Shintaro Kazama, and the Florist of Sai is called Kage in this game, as well as in the original Yakuza 1 and 2.
