The casino used to give free weekly gifts, but now you have to earn 25 points, in order to claim your gift. Jamul Casino does not have a real buffet like most casinos do, however Tony Gwynn's Sports Pub inside the casino does host a buffet but only on Thursdays and Fridays. The casino is fairly small and simple compared to others but it does the job. There are several bars and also live bands. This was my first time eating here at The Buffet at Viejas Casino. We walked in once before but ate at the cafe. The lunch buffet is $39.99 but 20% off with a Viejas Player's Card making it about $32. This seemed high at first but the buffet looked so good, we tried it. The appetizers and small plate items are in a large circular area as you enter.
