Notable edits - Originally the USA was added to this, it is illegal to gamble in Hawaii and Utah for example but the casino seems to function as normal there. There are a few countries as well that have gambling laws but again GTA's seems to duck underneath these. I'm not an enforcer of the law, nor am I a solicitor but common sense would lead me to say if GTA is allowing you to do it then you shouldn't have to worry about anything. If you cannot access the Casino games, VPN's are a known work around but this could net you in trouble. I won't be assisting players on where to find those (various comments have so far) but be warned it is to be used at your own discretion.
Casino is banned in my country due to gambling restrictions. But I really wanna do the lucky wall as you can get amazing rewards from it. so I live in a country where its banned to use the casino in gta online, so I tried using a VPN and everything worked. after a couple days I noticed that steam does not open and says to check my internet connection, same thing with league of legends, and same thing with Uplay launcher, and also the Epic Games launcher. but I noticed that when I turn on the VPN everything works like normal. what is going on? I tried resetting my modem, resetting my internet settings, and nothing worked. google chrome opens 90% of websites but some websites like rockstar games and uplay dont open unless i use a vpn.

Mostly want a vpn to stand a chance at winning the podium vehicle like everyone else but also wanna check out what the casino is actually like without all the games saying "Not available" for a change. How likely are you to get banned for using one and, if you are using one, do you use the VPN every time you play gta and do you set it to the same IP/country every time? Does Rockstar ban people for using VPNs to access locked stuff from Diamond Casino(Wheel of Fortune is my concern)? Since i wanna use it but I can only do that in my country via VPN.
I reported a modder who was "giving" cash to others and creating chaos. By giving I mean dropping it under the nose so you cannot evade it during VIP missions in normal public.
However, I also received some sum of money from that "loser" that I do not wanna use (because illegal source of gta$ income=ban and because I already had my Buzzard before it happened for VIP farming so I have no other actual needs for money right now since I can just farm it quickly). Should I keep it so Rockstar will just remove the cash or trash the cash(for instance, constant 500 bucks death trigger)? Also do they ban actual victims of such modders or not? Since I fear this could end my account that I was working on)

I was in a public GTA online lobby flying my hydra doing casino heist setups, I was minding my own business when this guy in the chat said 2-0 ahahaha and started chatting shit down the mic, chat and messages, i said " i've been minding my own business, i don't know what your on about" There was an argument for about 5 mins then he left and he left a message something along the lines of "haha noob i got ur ip so ill be back soon :D" So basically am i fucked, not in the game but in real life as this guy was level 1400 something and most likely a modder and im almost adamant that you can track an ip to an exact location, and no i wasn't using a VPN as i heard it gets you banned, or should i just brush this scum off my shoulder? I have reported him to rockstar and blocked him but i kinda need some reassurance as im not too smart with ip's and stuff. so I wanted to get a VPN so I can spin the wheel in the casino since it is banned in my country so I got NordVPN and when I connected to the UK with it and launched GTA I couldn't connect to social club and couldn't go online while the VPN was on. Can anyone help? Edit: Problem was fixed, I got in contact with their amazing customer support and they guided me through the process, I had something called Ncap or something like that on but managed to get it fixed

So, I got a free VPN installed on my computer. When I enter gta online (takes more time to load with vpn) it kicks me out because "there was a problem with the session" or "connection lost due to unknown network error". I installed the VPN so I can play casino games btw. Help
So since my country's laws don't allow players to gamble on the casino, I used a VPN and was able to access the content on my ps4. However, when I turned the VPN off and was returned to the story mode , I noticed that when I got back to GTA online I was still able to play on the casino even though it was technically illegal. I don't know if this improves or lowers the odds of me getting banned but I wanted to share it. Maybe some of you can explain to me if having the VPN on is better than switching it everytime I open the game and turn it off right after. *Everytime the game restarts it detects your location and doesn't change it until you close it and open it again. No matter if you switch your VPN on/off (on PS4 at least)

so I play with my (one) friend regularly, almost every day and we are loving the Diamond Casino Heists, but... But we are having major issue that happened second time already. This bug literally makes our heist impossible to pass. It is repeatable issue, not one time thing.
So, what's the problem?
We start the heist mission as usual, complete first few steps, then we go into a mantrap and what happens is we get kicked out of the mission. Game states that there are too few players to complete the mission. Before you ask - no one left. First time it happened on the aggressive approach, then we tried maybe 3-4 times again and, well, we got kicked again, and again. When we invited a random player to our mission it worked normally. Now it happened again on stealth approach. Already tried twice, no result. Please refrain from advising us "just to invite some random", as you know or not, heists with randoms are very often not enjoyable. What VPN service do you recommend to play gta online? I’m located in Poland and i’m unable to play casino games, spin the wheel etc. Because of stupid law. I can setup internet access via PC but i’n looking for VPN service without much lags.
I want to try out the casino, but it's banned in my country. The only solution that I'm aware of is using a VPN. I already got one, Surfshark, but I don't want to get my GTA account banned. Is there a risk? Is there another method for accessing the casino?

I bought GTA V on my Xbox and I want to play in the casino but j can't because it's disabled in my country. When I'm on pc I can use a VPN to circumvent that but I can't on Xbox. I tried a few programs to make a WiFi hotspot but they can't share the VPN connection.
Alot of countries have banned casinos from gta online. I have lost most of my interest in that game. I always came back to see all new dlc stuff, but only thing i can do is to just watch other players win money and cars. Lootboxes work on a smilliar mechanic, right? For example these event alpha packs from rainbow six siege. Only avaliable with special currency that costs real money. IMO there should be a rule, where the banned countries can play, but only a few times a day. I know that you can use VPN's, but i do not want to risk my account. I hope rockstar will try to change that. Are you from a banned country? What do you think about this?

I'm using a VPN to be able to play in the casino. But, today, when i logged in, this was what happened:First i turn on the vpn as usual, then launched the game, i opened my social club menu, i tried enter in a friend's session, so, what the gta does is automatically going first to gta single player then the game asks me if i want to join my friend's session as usual i pressed OK, but in the loading the game crashed and appeared that very known message that is something like: "gta stoped working due to some problem, please check your graphics, if the problem persist contact R* support, blablabla". The same message that appears when the servers are down or when an error happens. Then i tried enter the game for a 2nd time without VPN and this time i went just for the single player mode, i left my room for a second but i was able to listen the radio of the single player characters, then it stoped, when i came back i was again in the desktop with the same error message. I tried a 3rd time into the Single Player, the loading crashed like 10 seconds after and i was kicked out of the game again and the same message appeared. I was able to sent a message via the game to my friend and i could even receive a session invitation. I tried a 4th time now i did turn off and on the pc and the router of the internet, but same damn thing happened. I don't think that i got a ban because when it does, we receive a message saying we got banned as far as i know and we can still play single player. So...what's the problem here? o_O'
