Hitman 3 need a Other Casino Map in Las Vegas at night, hitman blood money it was too small, I kinda want them to design it like they did in blood money but with upgraded Graphics.

I want Guess rooms,VIP rooms and pretty much do it 10x better than it was in blood money. I hope Hitman 3 has a Airport,Yacht, and all these missions take place at night and I want even the airport mission to take place at night, I’m tired of hitman missions in the day and want all Hitman 3 missions at night, I’m sorry, it just feels so much better that way.

I'd love it if Siege had a Casino map set in Vegas as a throwback

The creative leeway which casinos have for map design would be so great.
One of my first 'real' games on the old 360 was R6 Vegas and I loved that game to bits. Does anyone else remember fighting their way to and through the Calypso Casino?
I was thinking about how cool would it be if Ubi designed a casino map which could fit into the mechanics of Siege to pay homage to the two Vegas games. You'd have short rows of slot machines and tables or prize wheels--even the flashy 'Win this car' exhibit, as cover.
Sure, it'd be way easier to just make a map for Siege without having to conform to the much larger scale of a casino, but just imagine the nostalgia trip we could get if they introduced it.

RS Vegas Casino map in Siege would be unreal

Anyone who remembers RS Vegas 1 will remember this map. It’s got all the elements of a Siege map: lots of routes into the building, multiple floors, hatches, and elevator shaft. With a bit of a revamp I feel this could make a great Siege map

Anyone else think a casino map revealed at the US Nationals in Vegas would have been really cool?

Especially since the series has an obvious history with casinos.

I would like to see a Las Vegas casino as a map in Season 2

It's pretty much a perfect scenario imo. From some crazy on the gaming floor kills, to working in the buffet, to going up to the hotel.. just so many ideas. I would really like to see this please!

Disappointed in the direction of Grand Theft Auto

Life long gamer. My favorite game series growing up was Grand theft auto. GTA 3. GTA Vice city. Gta San Andreas were all of my favorite games.
Lets not forget ambitious handheld single player experiences such as "GTA: Liberty City stories" and "GTA: Vice City stories" on the PSP
When GTA 4 was announced. And the trailer dropped I was extremely excited. I would watch every trailer, analyze screenshots. I loved the single player campaign. I also loved the focus on single player content. The Lost and Damned, and the Ballad of Gay Tony were very ambitious DLC content in my opinion. Both tied in to the main plot in a fun way, which was planned from the beginning.
Remember, when you completed Museum Piece in GTA 4, you got the "Impossible trinity" achievement. Trinity as in Niko, Luis, and Johney (that mission was the lone moment that connected GTA IV's main story, and the two single player DLC's)
We even got the ambitious "Chinatown Wars" with the entire map of Liberty City on the Nintendo DS.
I remember being at lunch during high school when the trailer for GTA V dropped. Went to midnight launch for GTA V and got it for the XBOX 360. I also brought the Xbox One version to play it on that gen.
But here we are. What was once my favorite game series has now become a soul less cash grab. Where is the new GTA? New stories? New characters? New area to explore? Modern day Vice city?
I wouldn't even mind a more modern rendition of Liberty City, with a version of Philadelphia in the south, and Atlantic City in the east for casinos etc. 3 cities in 1 map like in San Andreas. That would be pretty cool. GTA: San Andreas consisted of Los Santos (based on Los Angeles), San Fierro (based on San Francisco), and Las Venturas (based on Las Vegas).
Im ashamed of what GTA has become.
Instead you release GTA V AGAIN on the next gen. It will be year 2032 and we will still be getting upgrades upon upgrades on the same game that I played on the 360!...
No GTA game for almost 2 generations of systems. Micro transactions/ Pay to Win/ should not be legal
Edit: to be clear im not buying it. Havent touched it in years
Edit #2: I am talking about the GRAND THEFT AUTO series. Not Red Dead Redemption. Red Dead Redemption ONLY exists because of the popularity of GTA.

Fallout New Vegas Criticism

I love New Vegas, its my favorite game of all time. And it is for a lot of other people too. This unfortunately means that its almost impossible to say anything negative about the game on Reddit without getting massively shat on. The only point you seem to be allowed to criticize is the bugs, which gets rebutted by "but they only had 18 months to make it" or "Bethesda was in charge of QA", as if any of these things excuse it for you as a customer.
So now that the game is 10 years old and most of us have played it tons of times, I thought it would be a good time to make a thread where we can actually criticize this lovely game. I'll start, now bear in mind this is of course all degrees of subjective so don't throw "uR nOT obJEvTiVE" at me just yet:
  1. The bugs has to be meantioned first. The game ran horribly at release and still did for a long time after. Its first many years later with patches and mods that we reached something that can be called mostly stable. I'm playing it right now only with stability mods on and it still crashes about once every 1-2 hours, and its still very buggy and janky.
  2. Caravan, this game's made up card game, is horrible. Firstly its very buggy somehow. I am surprised they couldn't even bug fix a solitaire-like card game, but here we are. Secondly even when it works its not very fun. It takes minimum 3 cards to make a caravan and only one king or jack to ruin it. It means it heavily favors just fucking up your opponent and hope you win the war of card attrition. The game used to be stupidly easy but was then patched so now the AI will spam kings and jacks constantly. After I got the 30 games achievement I dropped it. Lastly the game doesn't do anything with Caravan. There is no quest to become the Mojave champion or such. I get this isn't needed but it would have helped make it interesting. The only other games in the game are casino games which all depends on your luck stat. I would love being able to play high stakes Caravan.
  3. Cut content. Roleplaying is best when you actually have good reason to join both sides. In Fallout New Vegas the NCR gets the majority of the content. If you side with the Legion you can finish all the faction quests in a few hours, meanwhile the NCR has so many quests I always have to check the wiki to remember them all. Its such a shame. It doesn't help that for 3 of the endings you can work with the NCR but only 1 for the Legion. I don't get this when in 2 of those endings you end up double crossing the NCR anyways, why not allow the player to double cross the Legion? The difference being that the NCR will stand down and the Legion will then try to fight you and your army.
  4. Caesar's Legion is weird. I love most of the faction. I love the ideological conflict between a faction trying to redo democracy but running into the same problems with corruption vs a brutal but safe dictatorship. I like talking to everyone and its cool to see how different peoples' options are of the factions. Some just hate the Legion outright because of their massacre. Some see the value of having a safe society, Cass mentions how she considered running her caravan in the Legion instead of the NCR because its safer. Its cool. However I can't get over the fact that this faction is a big ancient Rome LARP. They run around in football gear. Why not just make them look normal, or similar to Romans but not literally Romans. Its such a well crafted faction that gets ruined by this pretty silly design.
  5. Independent is basically the House route but with you instead. You don't get to choose what your plans are other than your interactions with the small factions, which also doesn't feel special. You don't ever get to use your securitrons. It would have been extremely cool to be able to send your army with you to wipe out or subjugate factions instead of just doing the same quest you do if you side with House. Again, you are also forced into a choice between an uneasy alliance with the NCR where you double cross them, or killing both major factions. You can't make it clear to them beforehand that you don't want to be annexed.
  6. The economy is poorly balanced. In Fallout 3 you barely made any money and vendors were just as poor, so it took a long time to accumulate wealth. Most players would just use gear they found instead of paying for it at a store. In Fallout New Vegas you can easily have 5000 caps by the time you reach The Strip. I had twice that when I reached it 2 days ago. Stores have tons of money and are more than willing to buy all your junk. The economy just breaks when vendors are willing to buy all the crap you pick up at such high prices as NV has. I think you can get them to buy for 90% of their value, that's fucking insane. I try to not level up barter too quickly as it just makes the game too easy but I also hate crippling myself like this. The game's vendors need to be selective about what they buy and how much they pay for it. You need 2000 caps to inter the strip, that's pretty much nothing. The game even gives you tons of ways around the credit check so clearly they meant for it to be a hurdle.
  7. The map. I'm not saying its bad, but going from Fallout 3 to NV makes you miss the feeling of being able to go in any direction and always find something. New Vegas is very railroaded. It has a ton of mountains and invisible walls to make the player go specific places (Edit: a lot of people are citing this one setence and using it to rebut me, guys read the whole damn thing). I can still let myself get lost in Fallout 3, in NV I always know exactly which way I'm supposed to go. The game has no counterpart to F3's Andale or Oasis. There are no small outskirts places for you to discover in some random spot. All the towns are along the main roads, with a handful of cool places that are off the beaten path. I love following the road through Primm->Nipton->Novac->Boulder City->Vegas, its an excellent experience for following the main story and finding a ton of side content, and I love they gave returning players the option to head straight north and try their luck. But when I just want to do some side content I always feel like I have to follow a track. I AM NOT SAYING THE MAP IS BAD. Just that it follows a certain design that some don't like. I like it when I just want to do the main story, its a really nice experience that way. But if you want to just go in any direction like in a Bethesda RPG you will get disappointed. There are tons of invisible walls and mountains in the way. Imagine if you started in Freeside instead and just had to get the cash to get into the strip (more than 2k). Then you can choose to follow the I-88, go towards Jacobstown, Bitter Springs, do stuff in Freeside or the other communities around Vegas. Would be a great alternative start for returning players.
Edit: some extra
  1. Combat is ass to say it bluntly. For some reason people always excuse the poor combat in RPG's because its not the games' focus or because its almost tradition at this point. I don't see why I as a player and paying customer should make excuses for a product I paid for. Its embarrasing how poor the AI is in the game, how poorly combat works and how unbalanced the game is. I can go through a ton of the game with my Couriers Stash 10mm and Vault armor and just blast entire legion or NCR camps, and then suddenly difficulty can turn on a dime and an enemy can kill me in 3-4 hits. Difficulty in RPGs is such an important thing as it directly influences your decisions. In Fallout 1 and 2 I did my best to not bite off more than I could chew. In NV can do pretty much anything other than go to Sloan at the start, which is a part that most have noticed too.
  2. The selection of guns is fine, but not armors. Without ultimate edition you don't get any good early game armor in the game. The only option is leather armor. Mid game you fight to get either power armor or combat armor mk2, and late game is all about Riot Gear from Lonesome Road. They could have made armor interesting by giving it stronger buffs and debuffs. PA and metal armor has a -1 to agility but often +1 to strength. Why not give such traits to all armors and maybe even make it stronger? Too much of the armor is also faction armor which you don't want to be wearing unless you are infiltrating somewhere.
  3. Speech is too much like Fallout 3 and not enough like 1 and 2. In 3 and NV dialogue either ends in a skill check (too often speech) or you having to do a task if you can't pass the check. What's being said is largely unimportant unless it leads to a different outcome. In Fallout 1 and 2 dialogue was much more about reading each option and thinking about how the character you were talking too would react. You often couldn't just [speech] 50 do what I want. NV has a few moments where you actually does have to argue and its some of its strongest parts.
  4. Crafting could have been more. This is more of a "what could have been" argument, but personally I don't see why you shouldn't be able to craft a lot more guns or armors. I don't want Fallout 4's style of somehow being able to craft tons of pre war objects you clearly don't have the tools to make, but just having a good selection of makeshift guns and armors would have made crafting and also survival much better.
These are my thoughts. Please feel free to share yours!

Game Concept: Fallout Cincinnati

(Repost because I posted this really late and I was hoping to get some more discussion on the ideas.)
TLDR: Cincinnati seems like an interesting location for a future Fallout game and I break down my reasoning and then give an idea for a story. Maybe Cincinnati, Ohio isn’t as popular as other American cities, but I think it still deserves a shot.
So this post is taking some older ideas in some Reddit posts for a Fallout game and adding some additional ideas for it. I believe that a Fallout game set in and around Cincinnati, Ohio could potentially be a good fit for the Fallout franchise. I’m gonna break down the reasons why I think it could fit the theme/work as a map and then some story ideas for what could work in the area. I’d also like to state that my ideas are based off of information from the Fallout Wiki and Wikipedia. If anything doesn’t add up, I apologize.
MY REASONING FOR CINCINNATI AND WHY IT CAN FIT THE FALLOUT LORE:
-So Cincinnati might not seem like a city as grandiose as somewhere like NYC, Philadelphia, Detroit, New Orleans, etc. To an extent, I totally agree with that sentiment. It’d be really cool to see those cities that were mentioned above as future Fallout locations. However, I believe that those world ideas are also so full of interesting locations that a game trying to capture it all would struggle to get all the significant locations with current technology. Cincinnati is a smaller city that is still rich with culture and history that could be captured more accurately than bigger projects.
-A decent amount of the skyscrapers and more significant places of Cincinnati and the surrounding cities are somewhat older. There is enough buildings in Cincinnati that were built before or close enough to the divergence point that the skyline and city layout could be decently recognizable.
-Cincinnati had a decently sized manufacturing and industrial sector before the IRL Midwest De-Industrialization and Formation of the Rust Belt in the 40s and 50s. Considering that Fallout is themed around the ‘Pax Americana 1950s & Early 60s’ culture, the idea of showing off a Midwest city that continued to boom in those sectors could be an interesting focus for a Fallout game.
-Cincinnati has a large, mostly unused subway system that was never finished. In game, we could see areas of underground activity like the Fallout 3 subway system. The IRL subway eventually had a section that was also reworked to be a nuclear shelter, so a Vault being under the city wouldn’t be far-fetched.
-The Underground Railroad considered Cincinnati to be an important stop along the way, as it was a large destination for runaway slaves. The city was seen as a large region to hide amongst and find work that was just north of the Ohio River, where Slavery was mostly illegal (still not that great for runaways, but better than the South). Any concepts of slaves coming to Cincinnati for newfound freedoms or a system/faction of abolitionists and runaways would make a lot of sense for the themes.
-The Ohio River would be an important location that could go right through the middle of the map. Based off of how irradiated the rivers were in Fallout 3: The Pitt, I think it’d be safe to assume that the Ohio River in Cincinnati would also be unsafe to travel across. This creates something like the Deathclaws north of Goodsprings in Fallout: New Vegas where players can follow a normal path to get to the main city. This also means that it could create fun and challenging ways to get across the river.
-Fallout’s 1950s styled America is still in love with baseball. If you’re looking for a major city with a rich baseball history/culture, Cincinnati’s your place. Cincinnati is the city where the first professional baseball team was created, the Red Stockings. It could be host to a baseball themed faction, a settlement like Diamond City, or maybe even a quest line to reform a pro baseball team.
-The Cincinnati Zoo is a long standing and prestigious zoo that could be an interesting point in this hypothetical game. Since the zoo is home to various creatures that aren’t native to most of America, we could see interesting enemy mobs like mutated gorillas and irradiated hippos.
-IRL Cincinnati is home to major companies like Kroger, Procter&Gamble, and GE Aviation. Fallout companies like Super Duper Mart and Abraxodyne Chemical could be stand-ins for Kroger and P&G. It’d be a cool bit of story building for some of the pre-war companies that have products littering the Fallout wastelands.
-While New Orleans is probably more famous for this point, Cincinnati was also historically home to a developed steamboat industry that made it an important location in the history of American exploration/expansion into the river basins of Midwest America. Fallout 4’s museums based around Massachusetts’ involvement in the American War of Independence show off the cultural significance of the region in American history. Cincinnati could have a museum dedicated to it’s prominent position as a gateway to the west, showing off it’s contributions to expansionist American culture.
-One of the cities in the Cincinnati region is a town south of the Ohio River known as Newport, Kentucky. Historically, before Las Vegas became Sin City, Newport, KY was a huge contender for that role. From the 1920s to the 1950s, Newport was a city filled with criminal bosses and corrupt public officials. Casinos, brothels, and other illegal enterprises made up a good chunk of everyday life for this town. If fans want to recapture the spirit of New Vegas with the focus on moral degradation and a city of ‘Sex, Drugs, and Rock’n’Roll,’ then look no further than Newport.
-Cincinnati was one of the major US cities that had Nike anti-air missile bases around the Greater Cincinnati area. I don’t think it’d be too far of a stretch to assume that after world tensions got worse in the 21st century, that the government would repurpose some of these launch sites into nuclear silos. Maybe we could see another Megaton situation.
-Cincinnati is also home to 3 facilities in the area that were dedicated to nuclear research and enrichment (until these plants were closed due radiation leaking out). These would be some great areas to explore and mess around with nuclear enrichment.
WHEN WOULD THIS TAKE PLACE & WHO WOULD BE INVOLVED:
So I feel like this game could work if it was set between the ending of Fallout 2 and the beginning of Fallout 3. IMO, the ideal starting date would be between 2248 and 2252 due to the ideas I have for the factions that could be used in this game. I don’t have all the details for all the different factions, but I have 4 ideas for 4 major factions. Two new ones and two old ones that could fit the area.
RETURNING FACTIONS:
-The Brotherhood (Chicago Faction) So the Brotherhood of Chicago is an ill defined group that exists only in references. Fallout: Tactics set up a group known as the Midwest Brotherhood, however, Tactics is no longer recognized as a canon game since Bethesda acquired the Fallout series. According to Fallout 3 & 4 though, there is still a group of the Brotherhood that still exists in the Chicago area. Like Tactics, the Chicago group of the Brotherhood arrived in Chicago due to an airship crashing into the area. Beyond this, there isn’t much lore about the Chicago chapter so this is where I’d like to add my ideas. After the crash, feeling disconnected from the rest of the Brotherhood (and their dedicated supplies and supply lines), the Chicago chapter turns more towards the religious aspects of the Brotherhood. Having a lot of connections to the airship that decided their fate, as well as possibly being based out of Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport, the Chicago Brotherhood turns towards the sky. They begin a process of turning into an Aviation cult, a society that worships and encourages air travel. Like the old Brotherhood, they would hoard technologies, just more focused on air travel and air defenses. Over time, they begin to expand around the Great Lakes region, eventually coming to a manpower crisis. At this point, the Chicago chapter would either loosen it’s recruiting standards to allow in wastelanders who would join due to their acceptance of their new faith system, or the Chicago chapter would create a Spartan styled theocratic dictatorship with the airship survivors acting as foreign rulers over Chicagoans. Either or would have interesting story choices, but I can’t chose which I like more. Anyhow, the Chicago chapter eventually comes across tales of ‘Prophet Wright and Prophet Patterson,’ the founders of flight (and possibly the sky if the chapter is naive/delusional enough). The Chicago Brotherhood learns of a ‘Holy City’ where flight was birthed and worshiped at a ‘Holy Air Base.’ The Chapter would take it’s proudest forces and equipment to claim their perceived Holy Land, the city of Dayton, OH and Wright-Patterson Air Base. Upon arrival, the Chicago chapter realized that the city was already claimed by other forces. Believing that their God (or Gods) was on their side, the Chicago Brotherhood launched an attack for Dayton. Time would pass, and no gains were made by the Brotherhood, revealing a dirty truth that this chapter was not as dominant and guided by God(s) as they thought they were. They also had to accept that an enemy force with Wright-Patterson could challenge their tactical and spiritual hold on the sky. Upon tactical reevaluation, the Chicago chapter noticed that the enemy forces were sending extra soldier South of the battle. The chapter correctly guessed that their enemies were moving to encircle them and stop their Midwestern gains. In response, the Brotherhood would send it’s own forces South to try to counter-encircle the enemy. Both forces, evenly matched and evenly stretching their lines would finally hit the Ohio River. Both sides were stuck countering the influence of the other, eventually both would settle in to starve the other one out around Cincinnati. The Chicago Brotherhood had their work cut out for them, for they would be facing off against.....
-The Enclave After the events of Fallout 2, the Enclave would need to rebuild. Bases of theirs lying in ruins, groups deserting them, Enclave members being hunted down for justice, profit, and fun. The situation looked dire for most. That was until a Mr. John Henry Eden gave orders to regroup and rebuild in the Capitol wasteland. Most Enclave members saw the writing on the wall, and decided that the move East would be better than death. This is where I believe that a certain group of the Enclave would be moving east, eventually stumbling upon Dayton & Wright-Patterson. This group of the Enclave didn’t feel like moving on past this treasure trove would be a smart idea, so the group settled there. Now I was thinking that the leader of this Enclave chapter would eventually get all high and mighty, thus proclaiming that the Dayton Enclave was the true enclave, that their leader was the rightful President, and that Eden and his Capitol Wasteland Enclave was not legitimate. The Dayton Enclave President swore an oath of duty to reunite the Enclave under him, and to invade and conquer the Capitol for their own state. While the older and higher up ranks supported the grand plan, younger officers and cadets had an uneasy feeling over these plans. Some would even go as far to talk about open rebellion and, even possibly, a return to democratic institutions and rules. (I would love to see a quest line where you can influence the Enclave and chose between a status-quo Enclave or a democratic Enclave. However, just because a bad guy says that they’re good now, it does not mean that they will be seen by the people as a good guy now). All of this would have to wait though, as a new enemy has arrived on this Enclave chapter’s borders. In less than an hour after their arrival, the enemy began a siege on the Enclave’s Wright-Patterson base. The Enclave was caught completely off guard, as none of the higher ups believed that ‘No savages of this region could possibly learn how to fly and professionally fight.’ After the initial chaos, the Enclave was able to get their air force up and defending their positions. Amid the siege and dogfights, the Enclave would learn of the name of their ‘new’ enemy: The Brotherhood. The Enclave officers had been both right and wrong. The Brotherhood was not a savage of this region, as they had fought against them in California. They were still in this region though, and they were able to put up an actual fight. Realizing the direness of getting stuck in a constant siege, the Enclave came up with a plan to hopefully solve all their problems. If the Enclave forces could just encircle the Brotherhood forces, then they could possibly cut their supply lines while also conquering lands to keep the Brotherhood from moving any further into Ohio, as well as a start on the Dayton Enclave’s Eastern March to take DC. Their forces moved south, only for the Brotherhood to match their moves to the south. The Enclave tried again, only to meet the same results. This began a race south to try to get under the other army. Evenly they moved along, until both forces hit the Ohio River. While some war-hawks within the Enclave ranks wanted to move into Cincinnati to try to gain the upper hand, the Dayton Chapter President refused, wishing to focus on the Brotherhood and the eventual Eastern March. Unfortunately, the Enclave and the Brotherhood had moved their battlegrounds too close to Cincinnati, and soon, a new force would join the fight.....
NEW FACTIONS:
-The Republic of the Ohio Cincinnati was not spared from the horrors of nuclear hellfire. Being a city with a large amount of manufacturing, commerce, transportation, and nuclear refinement will tend to put you on list for enemy nuclear destruction. As such, Cincinnati has seen better days. It is not 2077 anymore though, and the city has learned to heal. Emerging from vaults long after Nuclear War, but long before the time of this game, a new generation of citizens of Cincinnati began the process of rebuilding. In the beginning, many factions arose, with no central authority. Chaos and violence ruled the scorched streets. Eventually, due to raiders and instability, multiple governing groups formed trade pacts and alliances. These districts would eventually merge due to the economic ties to create the city of Cincinnati once more. While not all districts complied willingly, Cincinnati would continue to grow through a combination of economic ties and small military missions. With trade being such a central idea to the culture of the city, Cincinnati began to work out deals with even more areas that weren’t even part of the Cincinnati Districts. Around this time, the wealth inequality within the city began to grow faster and faster. More individuals were gearing up to meet more locals to enact more trade, of which some profits would go to line the pockets of these traders. Soon, the very well off individuals were producing shipping vessels on the Ohio River. While this meant that Cincinnati could spread it’s wings further, it also meant that more and more land on the river was being gobbled by those who already owned the majority. Nevertheless, the city would continue to work with the ultra rich to expand. By this point, many districts were starting to look worse compared to how they were doing before the city united. Since the city had been set up loosely, it had become a confederation in principle. As such, many districts were on the cusp of declaring their freedom once more. To quell any chance of District independence, the then Mayor of Cincinnati declared the ‘Republic of the Ohio.’ On one side of things, the new government better reflected the new growth on the Ohio River by recognizing new lands as different territories instead of new additions to the city. On the other side, the Republic was formed as a new government level to force territories looking for freedom back into the greater system. While the Districts could still leave the city of Cincinnati, they would still be stuck inside the Republic of the Ohio. The Republic was based off of the government of the pre-war USA, in which succession was illegal and punishable. Not everyone listened, and soon, the poorer districts declared a counter-government to recognize the ‘forgotten man.’ The Republic did not tolerate this, and swept through the districts, taking out any opposition that could be found. It was after this point, very early on in the new republic, that the government tightened the rules until the Republic was only a republic in name. Yes, the freedoms of speech and religion and the right to vote would still exist. But if you did not worship and speak of the Republic in the ‘correct way,’ you might have just found yourself stuck in social shaming and potential revenge. And while you could vote, it mattered not as everyone knew who the ‘winners’ would be. As the Republic embraced a darker side, it began to feel the drawbacks of it’s actions. Social services and protections offered by the state declined more and more, as politicians were more focused on the pay and helping their families. It was very clear that the rich of the republic had it all, while the poor never recovered from the District disassembly and forced reintegration. The Elite cared little though, as the republic grew it’s trading operations further up and down the River. Life was good enough. Or so it seemed until the scouts of the Republic brought news one day. Advanced groups with flying weaponry were moving south, towards the Republic itself. The President of the Ohio makes the call to send all forces to defend the northern walls. Little did they know that they had weakened another front, and a force moving from the South East to meet that weakened border. Known only in the region as a rumor, they are.....
-The Kanawha Coalition Nuclear War came a little bit later for the land of West Virginia, but when it came, it left it’s mark. West Virginia was spared from the worse in 2077, leaving behind a land with great potential. While violence and death was nothing foreign to the WV Wastelanders, it was comparatively tame versus the surrounding states. Eventually, a vault filled with Dwellers opened up. These pioneers would bring about change to the region, leading to more factions showing interest in the region. The population boomed, and it looked as if the region could sustain a form of civilization. Then the bombs came again, and again, and again. The new people of WV were not all as valorous and good-hearted as it seemed they would be. West Virginia was home to a series of active nuclear missile silos. Taking advantage of the chaos that comes with societal formation, certain individuals made their way to these silo sites to bring about new nuclear devastation. So quickly was the flame of law, order, and civilization sniffed out by nuclear destruction. Many would die, possibly even more than the amount of West Virginians killed in the actual war. Many more would just up and leave the lands, hoping to find a better home outside of WV. What was left after the first round of deaths and departures was a network of abandoned communities and other forgotten homesteads. The structures left behind would decay and fall apart, bits flying away along the wind. The locals that stayed were also forced to increase their mineral stripping and scavenging to build better homes, able to stand up to the toxicity of the region. Most of these were in vain, however, as the other survivors of the region were usually the ones still launching the weapons. Many years would pass with this pattern still going the same, only the Earth around them changing. While WV had been polluted even before the war, the leftover junk combined with the constant nuclear war brought the region to a new low. But at it’s lowest, WV would find a solution. Slowly, the psychopathic souls who had fired the weapons became bored of tormenting the region. The nukes were becoming a thing of the past, now the region could focus on the other problems that plagued everyday life. Those issues that had been put to the side were finally in full view. And that view was of a homeland soured by nuclear fires and other pollutants. The people had enough of their rotting home, so they elected to meet and discuss a solution. The meeting brought together a handful of tribes that had somehow survived. Many attending the meeting were no longer human, as the radiation had ghoulified a vast amount of the populace. While most regions struggled with the ostracism of ghouls, many humans within West Virginia had either accepted them or had learnt to tolerate them enough to not cause too much damage. While some grudges still seep into social arrangements, the ghoul-human relations are comparatively better to most other societies. The tribes of ghouls and humans came together to unify, creating a coalition of the West Virginian tribes. The elders of each tribe created a council to organize and direct new objectives for the willing locals. It was decided that the tribes would forgo the technologies that brought about the conditions that they lived in. They would focus their efforts on peace and harmony with the lands that had been ruined, with the eventual goal of creating an ecologically sustainable homeland. In an effort to rebrand the region and connect with a people who focused on the Earth, the coalition would begin to refer to the lands of West Virginia as Kanawha. Consequently, the coalition would eventually come to be known as the Kanawha Coalition. Time would pass and Mother Earth would heal... somewhat. After a long period of partial success, the council would meet and make a drastic choice. No longer would they toil to make a broken land heal, a new, better land would be searched out. The tribes packed up and began a long march towards a new home. A rumored land of a city that continued to kill Mother Earth with no punishments. Now, it was time to punish the wrongdoers and take their lands triumphantly.
WHY SET IT BETWEEN 2248 AND 2252: The main reason I feel like this time period would work is due to the events between FO2&3. According to the DC Brotherhood in 3, the Chicago Brotherhood had gone silent by the time of their eastern journey. It also fits due to the Enclave moving East as well. As such, 2248-52 seems late enough for the Enclave to get out East, while being early enough for the Chicago Brotherhood to disappear by 54/55.
THANK YOU FOR READING THIS, I’M SORRY IF I MISTYPED ANYTHING OR SOMETHING DIDN’T MAKE SENSE.

I was going to post a map of the locations (in North America) all the major demigods are from (that are known) but I can't so instead I'm going to list them out

--PJO Half Blood gang-- Percy- Manhattan, New York (duh)
Annabeth- Richmond, Virginia and later San Francisco
Luke- Westport, Connecticut
Thalia- Pasadena, California
Clarisse- Phoenix, Arizona
Will Solace- Austin, Texas
Nico (& Bianca)- born in Venice, very temporary moved to a hotel in Washington D.C., and then stuck in Las Vegas for for 70 years in the Lotus Hotel and Casino
--Camp Jupiter crew--
Jason- born in Pasadena before getting yeeted out of the house and then raised by Lupa in the Wolfs House, which is in Glen Ellen, north of San Francisco by 1 hour and 46 minutes according to maps
Piper- Malibu, and also visited Tahlequah where her dad was from with decent frequency
Leo (best boy)- Houston, Texas
Hazel- New Orleans before getting owned and also owning the island in Seward, Alaska where she was forced to raise Alcyoneus
Frank(other best boy)- Vancouver, British Columbia
Reyna- San Juan, Puerto Rico before landing in C.C.s Spa and Resort, then obviously becoming the judge jury and executioner of Camp Jupiter
(It's not explicitly stated that he's from San Fran but worst boy Octavian is said to he from a long line of Camp Jupiter attendees)
Never realized before looking into this basically all of them are from the Northeast, the region surrounding Texas, or the West Coast minus Clarisse who's chillin' in mega hot world

CDPRs glitches/bugs are a very VERY minor problem in Cyberpunk. These problems are bigger:

60 hours into cyberpunk and probably won't finish the game.
No its not because of the bUgS
Bro I played skyrim since it was released
I played New Vegas like 20 times
I played Witcher 3 since the first month of its release
Like the bugs in New Vegas give the game a charm to this day.
Its the content IN THE GAME.
It got to the point where if I want to beat the game I just have to follow the remaining quest markers again and again.
But the side jobs all have the same feel we are used to in a GTA world. Walking around the city as you do the side content, and there is no narrative to V's actions. At least in GTA each of your characters has an actual lifestyle, and a relationship with where they are from. Walking around in Night City, as someone with 50 street cred, and there's no recognition of who you are or what you have accomplished. It doesnt have to offer some grand narrative, but anything that shows consequence and progression of your actions would be fantastic.
The closest thing to this is going to each new "bad guy hang out" and if you walk into their territory they try and kill you. Which is so strange because this happens from the beginning of the game, no matter what. Even as regular civilians walk among the bad guys aimlessly, there is no reaction, but the game triggers to make the bad guys attack without recognition and with impunity when you accidentally look at them. Npcs and cars travel on rails, and if there is an item blocking the path, the game stops. You'd expect that even meandering around the city that your character V would have more relationship with the city, even pre-programmed lines to say here and there. Geralt had his famous COME HERE U PIECE OF FILTH comments when fighting monsters, or commenting on the weather. For as much content in the city, the alleyways, rooftops, random streets, sewers, and the badlands, there seems to be a surprising lack of interest in finding content here.
There are SOME exceptions but take that with a grain of salt:
There was a side gig where I was supposed to save a ripperdoc who was being forced to do work on gang members, another with a father and son duo you can kill who are responsible for trafficking children, or another infiltrating a subterranean casino to assassinate a bad guy - and none of these are varied based on a life path. They are static triggers on a map you select and travel to. But each of these interactions are 5-7 minutes long, one off interactions, and have no consequence or rabbit hole in the world of Cyberpunk. Not even a quarter of Skyrim or New Vegas when in those games, you meet an NPC with a name and you just might get a quest that lasts 3-5 hours.
People think that the main weakness in the game are the bugs, but fortunately for CDPR, the distraction of bugs and glitches and a failed launch QC-wise, are the things that people are thinking about right now. Had the game been 2 months more polished on the QC side, it is still an empty game IN COMPARISON to the detail that exists in the game. The devs exhausted themselves in the world design, and in the style of the game. If they had done as much for AI, organic chemistry in the world, and in a divergent narrative for each life path, then it may have been an 8 out of 10.
Some of the things that would enhance the experience would be a set of side quests directly for corpo, street kid, and nomad. Something that in the world after the prologue that would put you on side quests that can only be accomplished by those life paths:
Street kid gets a narrative that follows the consequences of coming BACK to Night City. The game opens up as Stret Kid that V is back in Night City after leaving another city when things fail. There could be an entire 10 hour narrative directly with dealing with whatever that meant, but nope. Youre back in Night City. The fixers and big players all know you, and you're automatically on everyone's good graces with everyone except Rogue, but just pay her. That'll work.
Corpo could exist in the the remnants of the corporate wars. A stand off between hostile CEOs and your character, or even a goofy world that exists where your company is failing and you have to achieve clout in a incredibly self gratifying cyberpunk world, kinda like a certain side quest where you are helping an inmate execute himself.
Nomad could be a deep dive into clans and the politics of badlands groups from clans like Panams, to the Raffins, but apparently only 1 clan is alive in the Badlands.
But thats just part part of the list of problems. The rest exists in the pre-programmed way that stealth and actual gameplay works. Stealth is ridiculously broken with no tension. Distract an enemy, or memory wipe and you can get by anything. Turn off the camera, ping for enemy locations. Is it just me, or do all those flashy YouTube videos where players are 1 shotting their way through scanner hustles with a silenced pistol all look just like taking down outposts and fortresses in Farcry? It looks neat, but its a shooter at that point, not even reminiscent of an RPG. For as much as people mock The Last of Us 2, its stealth, world building, and tension you feel when you go through abandoned buildings makes you feel human, scared, and cause you to constantly count your ammunition. You are constantly crawling, or stopping, or throwing bottles, or other shit as you go around every corner and open every door.
Overall, these are just a couple shortcomings of this game, minus the issues I have on a ps4 pro. Bugs are not my issue. Its the incomplete gameplay therein and the emptiness of this world that is not an RPG.

21 knives, mostly customs, some production (GiantMouse, Spyderco, Chaves, QuietCarry, CRK, Shirogorov, Strider, Les George, Ed Cope, Anso, Dervish/TAD, Kingdom Armory, SG Knives, RMJ)

Gents,
First off, happy Thanksgiving. Hope all y’all are happy and healthy this holiday.
I can only carry one knife a day, and over the past couple months I’ve found a few “home run”, all-time-great knives for me that I want to carry all the time. Which means about half my collection, including some really lovely pieces, is not getting carried at all. So it’s time to sell em.
NOTES
Everything here is priced aggressively. I’m more interested in getting these out of my hands into good homes than I am squeezing every dollar I can out of em. If we’ve worked together before, or you want multiples, message me! Looking to sell. The only things I will consider trades for are John McNees, John Gray or Ed Cope Customs. Last note: Shipping on Monday. I have commitments all weekend that prevent me from getting to the post office. I will probably have things packed before then, but they won’t be on the road til then.
Y'all, I'll be cheffin, eatin and with family until about 8PM PST, so I'll be checking timestamps when I get back for the most part. I WILL get back to everybody, so please, if I don't get back to you right away, don't be too concerned! Remember, clear yolos take precedent over offers / asking questions. Thanks!
ALBUMS Folders Fixies
KNIVES
Knife Price Condition Notes
Chris Reeve Large Inkosi, Insingo, FDE 450 B I love love love LOVE the way this guy looks and feels, but I simply don't like the Insingo blade shape for my needs. I've got a DLC Tanto Inkosi coming, otherwise I couldn't bear to part this one. Even then, priced close to MSRP (has been lightly used, carried a couple times) just because I've gotta get some decent cash to part with it.
Shiro F95T 650 B Bought off this post, second F95T I've owned and this was the better example. Great action, as expected, and other than the marks noted in the previous post, looks and feels pretty darn new. I may not have the box and card anymore, I'll have to look. The F95T is an amazing blade, but I like my flippers smaller than this one.
Strider AR .75 Tanto 3V 650 B The only hype knife drop I've ever been lucky enough to get in on. Super-limited MonkeyEdge AR .75 in 3V, probably one of the toughest folders you'll ever find. Kills me to sell it, but my 3V Demko has always been the one I've grabbed. Unused except for a couple tests BUT there's some surface rust on the engravings. Haven't tried to do anything about it, it might scrub right off.
Les George VECP v3 Flipper 375 SOLD B Can't believe I'm selling this, but as much as I love this knife, I don't carry it. Newer version of the VECP (from this year) running on bearings, extremely smooth action, and a blade that cuts and cuts and cuts. Would make an incredible workhorse. Has been carried like, twice.
Ed Cope LR6 650 B- Gorgeous knife from the Tom Mayo protege...3.5ish inches of Vegas Forge dammy, old-school-smooth action, literally faultless construction. Only problem is the beautiful mirror edge on here right now is literally dull as a brick, so it'll need sharpening before it gets used. Green schmutz is a brief attempt to strop it, which lasted about 3 seconds before I realized I don't know what I'm doing. I don't think it did a darn thing to the blade.
Anso Haddock G10 1000 B Lightweight utility EDC from Jens Anso with really interesting patterned G10 handles. This isn't a "hard use" blade, but the sheepsfoot profile comes down to a screaming sharp edge that glides through most materials. Never thought I'd sell this one, but I've got another Haddock on the way from ens, don't need two, and I haven't been reaching for this as much as my various tantos. That said, if this one doesn't sell at this price, I'll keep it and just sell the new Haddock when it comes in.
Anso Casino, Bronze 650 B+ Just about new from Jens, carried once. The blade shape just doesn't work for what I need from a friction folder. Faultless construction, SUPER slicey blade, bronze gives it a little heft. Just a gorgeous, gorgeous piece. Would cost you $1050 to order the same build from Jens direct.
Anso Monte Carlo, FatCarbon 650 B Similar to the other, gorgeous piece, but I just don't have enough use cases for it. Really interesting little pattern on the CF, super useful blade shape. If this one doesn't sell at this price or close to it, I think I'll just keep it for now.
Dervish Triple Aught Dauntless 1000 B Nearly new, 1 of 3 in the world. Carboquartz and marbled CF scales, super-drop-shutty, huge-ass 20CV blade running on bearings. Not the sharpest thing in the world, but it's not meant to be. WAY lighter than it looks, would probably be a great semi-outdoors user knife.
Kingdom Armory Rook 700 B- Somebody buy this fucking custom, seriously. $1500 table price, Hugin dammy with copper bolsters. Chonky. Only downside is the blade is super thin BTE but not all that slicey. With a bit of sharpening work, should make for an exceptional EDC. Some small marks near the front of the blade from light use.
SG Knives Murai 450 B Got in a trade, lighter-than-it-looks, super flicky full custom from an Indonesian maker. Seen a lot of building hype around this guy, and it's earned...this thing rocks and would make a great EDC. Blade shape is like a bigger Sebenza flipper.
RMJ Jenny Wren 350 B All 3 fixies are in one video. Nearly-new-but-for-some-kydex-scuffs lightweight RMJ hawk in the limited "Explore More" colorway. Super cool little piece that I thought would be a nice "shop axe"...cept I don't have a shop, and what do I need a shop axe for.
Strider DB-L, 3V 400 B Such a hype-y little piece, but it's for a reason...this little mouse is as close to indestructible as anything you'll hold in your hands. Enjoyed having it around, but never used it, so I'll pass it on.
Strider WBMod10 400 B This thing is just MEAN. S35VN, from the drop either this year or last year, forget exactly when. I'm second owner, but I never used it, and I don't think the last guy did, either. Probably not much you can't do with this guy...stab, pry, maybe even cut! Cord-wrapped handle is super comfortable. Never used.
GiantMouse Ace Grand 185 SOLD B Recently bought off here, it ABSOLUTELY lives up to the hype. Action, ergos, blade shape are all exceptional. GM killed it. Hasn't been used by me cept for a couple cut tests.
GiantMouse Ace Nimbus V2 175 SOLD B Got lucky enough to score one of these from BHQ. Like the Grand, totally lives up to the hype. Surely will be a perfect EDC, and the action is smooooth. Really really nice piece.
Spyderco PPT, S90V 175 SOLD B Best blade for the price in my collection. WICKEDLY sharp, will bite you if you're not careful. As secure in the hand as anything I've ever used, and the blade shape works exceptionally well for most EDC. Can't recommend the PPT enough.
Chaves Ultramar Liberation G10 275 SOLD B The most EDC-able Chaves of em all - light, slim, slicey, while still having decently thick bladestock and that sweet sweet Reate action.
QuietCarry Drift, Knurled Orange Ti 225 SOLD B The knife that really put QC on the map, in the boldest and most practical of colorways. Was carried a few times, loved how slicey this blade was, but hasn't seen pocket time since I got my Terrain365 Mako. This one is lighter and slicier, though.
GiantMouse Ace Biblio Bronze 175 SOLD B Another EDC monster from GiantMouse, wonderful little sub-3" flipper that thumb-rolls great, too. More useful than I ever thought it was going to be, and I like the extra heft the bronze gives it.
Strider DC 475 SOLD B Strider's new-ish chonky boi. Similar blade length to an SNG with bigger, bulkier, full-Ti handle. Really cool, and I'd be keeping it if I didn't have two SNGs...but I do, so out it goes. Still needs to be broken in.
Anso Neo 750 SOLD B Gorgeous flipper from Jens with, like all his other work, an exceptionally useful and slicey blade shape. Note, typical for Jens, it also has an extremely strong detent and lockbar tension, so you gotta keep your fingers off the lockbar to launch it...but if you do, it FLIES out. Not drop-shutty, more smooth and even. Here in his gorgeous "cuprum" finish, which is greey with hints of blue and bronze...it's like nothing else out there, and the micro milling completes the look.
Strider (Medford) AR .75 Tanto S35VN 400 SOLD B No idea what market is for these things these days, so don't yell at me if I'm off. Lightly used, fantastic grind, little bit of rust-lookin stuff in the thumbhole. Beautifully broken in.

No Game Is Perfect: A New Vegas review thingy written by a New Vegas Fanboy

Hello this is me from the past before I wrote the review talking right now, just wanted to say I'm betting100 caps on this getting downvoted enough where it gets no attention or people simply not caring, oh well my dad always said "Just keep moving forward", he got hit by a biker because he walked into the street after he said that. Besides that, I had also reviewed Fallout 4 and I forgot about a lot of the key features like songs etc. planning on making this one better. But without further wait let's continue!

"Too many people have an opinion on things they know nothing about. And the more ignorant they are, the more opinions they have." -Scientist man from Camp McCarran
Fallout New Vegas was released by Obsidian Entertainment on October 19th, 2010 for North American audiences and released on October 21st for Australia and the next day for European audiences.

Let me just first of all shoot down the time restraints argument, 1. Bethesda had given them full access to their engine meaning a large amount of work was prebuilt for them 2. The bros working on the game had even said the engine was great to work with 3. They built an entire sewer system for Vegas instead of working on things that should have been more important, it wasn't Bethesda's whole fault, Obsidian bit off more than they could chew. Now that's out of the way let's start with the good

DA GOOD:
New Vegas has awesome writing, the main quest is well written sure but the real star is the side quests. New Vegas has about 75 unique side quests compared to the 17(?) 3 had and each one shares a unique story. You could be scouting competition for a show in a casino, finding prostitutes, helping ghouls go to the moon, or doing mercenary work for the NCR. What is even better is most quests had multiple ways to finish them, weather that be through skill checks, or other manners. It gave you a good amount of role playing freedom to develop your character how you desire. This leads me into the point that every NPC can be killed so you can really turn you character into a jackass, it makes it so you have consequences for every action you take.
Obsidian really struck home with the amount of small details as well, for example when your gun jams you use actual techniques to unjam them from real life. They even added in a unique card game called caravan and 3 different types of currency.
3 is regarded as the darkest game in the franchise, while the atmosphere is darkest, I believe NV takes the cake for darkest theme. It touches subjects on things like slavery, racism, prostitution, corruption and politics that you don't normally see in other games. It is grim as fuck and I appreciate the game for taking a look at the dark themes the apocalypse can bring.
DA BAD:
Like fallout 3 NV's combat has a lot left to be desired, it is reliant on vats and can be bothersome. At least it added crosshairs though
Another issue is how damn empty the map is. It feels like most of the map is located north near Vegas and the southern portion is empty as hell, It almost feels like it was designed for an isometric view like Fallout 1, and 2. I get it, the Mojave desert is an empty fucking place but jesus you could have taken the initiative and added more tribal stuff, or combat zones where everyone was wiped out, or war memorials or something. As well as the amount of invisible walls on mountains is just annoying.
Caesars Legion is also so underdeveloped it is sad. Going with the Legion basically locks you out of 75% of the map since it is all NCR controlled. They made an entire empty sewer but skimped out on a main faction.
I hear a lot of people always complain about bugs but I saw no less than any other Bethesda game so idk maybe I'm lucky.

Probably done. Remember this is just my opinion and anyone is allowed to disagree, feel free to discuss in the comments.

The strip in fallout new Vegas was disappointing

Okay let me start out by saying I have been playing this game for a few days and I love it; It is my third favorite fallout game between one and two. With that being said the strip is one of the most disappointing things in any fallout game I have ever played. When I originally heard of this game I assumed it was an entire full size fallout map in new Vegas and that sounded awesome but then I heard it still had a world outside it so I assumed new Vegas took up a half to a third of the map with some stuff outside. I was completely disappointed to play the game and realize it is a normal fallout world with a normal sized town as new Vegas with it being called the strip. The place only has a handful of buildings with only a couple usable casinos. I expected a huge futuristic busking city to be new Vegas and it to be something like vault city from fallout 2 where it had lots of inhabitants but was heavily guarded and rules were strict mixed with the crime and corruption of new Reno but it is just a couple of buildings that doesn’t feel like how I imagined it at all.

[FNV] The Guide on How to get The Best LOD Possible with mods

[FNV] The Guide on How to get The Best LOD Possible with mods
DISCLAIMER:
This guide has some minor issues. I plan on fully updating it and making a TTW version + a frontier version if needed when the frontier comes out on January 15 (HYPE!).

As of now here's some quick fixes when you get to the Generating Lod section of the guide :

TTW- Don't generate Lod for "Capitalwasteland" in lodgen
NV/TTW- Get xLODGEN and generate terrain lod for both "wastelandnv" and "wastelandnvmini" if using MOREMOJAVE

Now back to the guide....
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Video I posted earlier Showcasing the lod
Ok so this is gonna be a big one. In this post I'll detail two guides, one for base FNV and one for TTW-
[I'll do a TTW guide later because I have a lot of work I should be doing rn and typing out the ttw version would take a bit]
telling you how to completely overhaul your distant LODS and landscape. This will not cover grass mods or landscape overhauls in that sense but It will add new buildings hence more content and for TTW{lies} some optional building revisions to make your wasteland/s seem new. While technically everything is optional I will be tagging mods that are not necessary for your games distances to look just as good as mine (though I highly recommend downloading everything I say if you don't know what you're doing). Now lets begin with base New Vegas. Note: Everything is listed in install order ;)

-Prerequisites (STABILITY):
I have a GTX 1070ti and an 8700k fyi. With ENB I reach 70-80 percent GPU usage and around 20-40% CPU usage max.
Install JIP, Johnny Guitar, NVAC, NVTF, FNV mod limit fix, Heap replacer (Very important for smooth gameplay). If using an Nvidia card disable FNV vsync and use the vsync in Nvidia Control panel (test this as this doesn't increase performance for everyone).
Note on tick fix: If you use ENB disable bUseD3D9Ex. If you use Nevada skies disable bInlineCommonFunctions to remove the clicking sound during storms (this may not be needed anymore so test for yourself) . Finally If you want to play over 60 fps set bAlternateGTCFix=0 and bFPSFix=1.
YOU ARE NOW DONE WITH THE BASIC PERFORMANCE INCREASES. If you really need more fps try installing TTW (it runs better for me for some reason) or try turning down Actor fade/Object fade
-THE LODS
The reason you're here in the first place. Start by installing these mods in This order and do EXACTLY what I say lol

BASE:

  1. Lod Additions and Improvements
  2. Much Needed Lod + NMC Patch if you use NMC/Ojo patch if Prioritizing Ojo (IMPORTANT: Disable both the mod and its patch in your mod manager, not just the esp. We'll activate these later).
  3. Wasteland Flora and Terrain Overhaul: Install the Main file for my look. (You can also install UHQNV Rocks - Roads and Terrain Overhaul in the optional files. I let all my other texture mods overwrite it. That being Nmc, ojo, etc etc)
  4. TCM's Lod overhaul + NMC patch if needed (You still need the NMC patch even if you don't use ojo as TCM uses ojo textures by default. The TCM author is working on his own NMC patch so be on the lookout for that)
  5. Lucky 38 Lod Fix: Fixes that busted ass Lod while inside the Lucky 38
  6. Improved LOD Noise Texture: If you dislike the regular Lod noise. (Optional as I'm personally not using this)
Q: Where's Less horrendous Vicki and Vance Casino?!
A: It's Included in TCM's Lod overhaul :)

-NEW STRUCTURES
For the new buildings and towers showcased In my video next download:
Uncut Wasteland: For the guide you only need the regular version but the NPC version will of course work just fine. Download any patches you may need for other mods and fix conflicts In fnvedit if needed (I personally use outside bets TTW and the outside bets patch for uncut and these do not work together by themselves. This is where things can get tricky and why the TTW guide might take a little longer). THIS AND THE NEXT MOD HAVE THE BIGGEST IMPACT OUT OF THE STRUCTURES SECTION OF THIS GUIDE.
MoreMojave: Adds more Locations to explore around your wasteland. Works with AWOP but I recommend using it as a replacement as its way less op and broken. This is a big one. NOTE: As of now I personally get this missing Lod glitch at this one area (3:44 in my showcase Video). It's a Lod from MoreMojave so If this happens to you and you just can't stand it remove MoreMojave.
Nellis Air Force Base Lightweight Overhaul: Adds more stuff to the barren Nellis air force base. I made this one optional because the LODS don't fully work I've noticed, and it has very op containers (can easily be deleted with FNVedit) but I couldn't leave it out as It's one of my personal favorites as of late. (highly optional)
(WORLDSPACE CONFLICTS WITH MOREMOJAVE) Jean Overhaul: Adds that beautifully dilapidated casino and courthouse Lod showcased near Jean skydiving in my video. Note that you can't actually enter the buildings it adds atm, they're just for flavor. A must have for me personally (optional)
Nv Animated Zeppelin + NV Bos Zeppelin and their update files or Animated Mojave (Both zeppelin's version): Only pick Animated Zeppelin and Animated Bos zeppelin if you're not interested in the other features Animated Mojave adds or you don't know how to remove certain features yourself. (optional)
Camp McCarren Animated Monorail (Use the AAM version if using Animated Mojave from the previous mod): Well... it adds an animated monorail... kind of self explanatory (optional... but come on, you know you need it)
Ultra-Luxe Fountain Expanded: Very simple mod to make the ultra lux fountain more fancy like. (optional)
NV Animated Neon Pole Dancer for Gomorrah: For all the perverts reading this like me ;). (optional)
Lucky 38 E3 Lights Restored or The Mogul Mausoleum - A Lucky 38 Overhaul. The former simply adds meshes so will be more compatible with things if you want to be extra safe. The latter is more performance heavy While inside of the lucky 38 as it also edits the interior which is kind of beyond the scope of this guide. (optional)
----------|
Q: What about Primm overhaul, the many goodsprings overhauls, Novac overhauls, Nipton, etc etc
A: First reason being performance and stability. Some of those beloved overhauls add too many things to tiny areas and will cause fps issues for most people. Second, I want this guide to be as compatibility friendly while still looking amazing so I only overhauled tiny areas that rarely see use by other mods (Jean/Nellis). Third, I just don't like those mods. Goodsprings is iconic to me, novac is iconic, nipton, etc etc. I like how they look in the base game. If you want you can add those mods though. The Lod generating process will be the same in the end but make sure you go to the locations and double check that generated Lod is working properly.
-GENERATING LOD:
At this point you should have all the appropriate ESP's and mods with Much Needed LOD disabled in both your right and left windows (mo2). Not sure how the interface in vortex looks but just disable the whole mod basically. No esp or anything.
NOTE: I'm not gonna go in depth on installing lodgen you'll have to do that yourself. A thread that might help: How to install fnvlodgen with mod manager?(noob question sorry) : fnv (reddit.com)
--------------------|
(IN MO2 ADD THIS ARGUMENT TO YOUR LODGEN pointing to the directory of a newly created LOD Output folder for your LODS to go in).
(Vortex users) If you use vortex I'm actually not sure what you'd do. You'll sadly have to look up how to create a Lod output folder for vortex.
Example for Mo2 Users:
-o:"C:\ExampleFolder\Mo2\mods\LOD Output"

Picture Example

-Now Run Lodgen through your mod manager.
Make sure you Set your alias to 8192 by 8192. Leave the compression settings at whatever they default to for you. Don't generate tree Lod or terrain Lod if you have the option.
-For the first run ONLY SELECT NVDLC01BigMT. Hit Generate (REMINDER: DONT HAVE MUCH NEEDED LOD INSTALLED OR ACTIVATED IN ANY WAY)

https://preview.redd.it/tlk7vw7kr8461.png?width=1542&format=png&auto=webp&s=532be431e166c5b40da73948e11ece4fe0eef0e9
After that Finishes generating You can close Lodgen.
----------|
-THE REST:
Now enable the Much Needed Lod mod and esp (Make sure it's placed below The Lod additions esp). Also if for some reason Flora Overhaul is below these two esp's put it above it (Place Flora Overhaul Below Both Load Additions and Much needed Lod)

-Open up Lodgen again and Generate everything For your Mojave wasteland EXCEPT for NVDLC01BgMT.
NOTE: We do this because Much needed Lod Doesn't work well in old world blues apparently. I actually haven't tested myself but I do know when I have much needed LOD installed during the generation process on BigMT I always Get error messages :(

After that's finished tick you LOD Output mod and have it overwrite everything. Most of you should be all set (IF YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEMS TELL ME AS I WAS VERY TIRED WHILE I TYPED THIS AND MAY HAVE MADE A MISTAKE SOMEWHERE... I don't think I did though)

-OPTIONAL INI TWEAKS FOR EVEN BETTER LODS:

fHighBlockLoadDistanceLow=90000.0
fDefaultTreeLoadDistance=35000.0
fLowTreeLoadDistance=20000.0
fHighTreeLoadDistance=80000.0

Q: What this does?
A: This will Increase the distance at which Lod loads into the world a bit more than the max values. It wont effect timing but it MAY effect performance. I noticed maybe a 1-2 fps drop but I have a very well optimized game with good specs to boot. Test this yourself :)

Railroad Outpost CTD

Since resolving some conflicts with earlier mods, I found this is the only place in the Frontier that I get a CTD when I approach the door. Help is appreciated.

Future of the franchise

Here are my ideas to what they should do for the future games
Mafia I Remastered (Upgrade to next gen graphics, fix the lighting and the few glitches. Change some things like when you fill up your gas tank show Tommy doing it like in Mafia II instead of what we got now, change the drive by it’s too easy, give us the option to change clothes in the story instead of just in free roam and add all the golden guns too. Change the way he goes up and down a ladder because that’s exactly like Lincoln Clay, change how he throws molotov and also change how he takes cover because that’s also exactly like Lincoln. Also change the way npc’s react when they’re shot or shot at and make them smarter. Add rival gangs so we can fight them in free roam. Make the bullet holes on npc’s and Tommy better. Add some things like trams, trains, a wanted system exactly like Mafia II, places to eat, ability to smoke, clothing stores, vehicle customizations, trafic lights so we can get a ticket when we run over red light, maybe some ambulances that can arrive when people die and make the police do a crime scene where the people died, more free roam missions where you could be inspired by the ones in the original Mafia and some more scores to the chapters. I love the scores that are there now but sometimes it gets a little repetitive and could be refreshing if there were something new. I know this is a small thing and I also know that you can see it on the map but I would love for them to write the date of the chapter when the chapter loads up like in Mafia II.)
DLC: Don Peppone (Everybody would love to see this. We all wants to see what happened. Let the game take place in 1910s to late 1920s. Let’s see a commission meeting with the big names from Mafia II, III, IV and V when Don Morello and Don Salieri became rivals. Show Carlo’s father. Maybe we could also see Alberto Clemente get his family accepted at the commission meeting in 1929. Show how Paulie and Sam got accepted into The Salieri Family. Would also have loved to see a cameo of Don Vinci to see the friendship between Don Salieri and him.)
DLC: Mafia II Mobile (This is a really good story that only a few has tried. It takes place in 1938 about a protagonist called Marco Russetto who is the nephew of Vincenzo. He travels to Empire Bay to find Tommy Angelo after he betrayed The Family. He starts working for Henry Tomasino. Look up the story it’s really interesting he works for Don Falcone and Don Vinci. He ends up in prison at some time also. There are some things in the story that you would have to change so it would make sense but this really does have potential. Plus if you created this Empire Bay map then you could use it for a Mafia II Remake.)
Mafia II Remake (It needs it. It truly needs it when you look at all the things that where scrapped. Add all the cut content. Add some amazing next gen graphics and a fantastic engine. Don’t change the characters look or voice since this game has the best voice acting in the world. Add more chapters to it so it would be longer and fill out the holes in the story. And let’s see more background to the characters. Maybe add some countryside to expand the Empire Bay map. Make some references to Los Ondas and the mobsters there. Make also some references to Mafia III and IV characters. Let’s see the return of the cigarette cards where we see the big mobsters of the 40s.)
DLC: Vinci-Moretti War (Very interesting story. We would love to see why this war happened and to see how Don Falcone and Eddie Scarpa took over after Don Moretti died. To see a younger Leo Galante and Don Vinci in the war and how they acted. Would also love to see how Alberto Clemente took over Don Moretti’s and Don Vinci’s businesses. That would explain why Leo Galante hated Alberto so much. You could maybe include Fredo Clemente somewhere there and maybe see Alberto give Henry Tomasino a job and Luca Gurino’s involvement. Let’s see more to Jack Olivero and Tony Balls since he was the driver in the car with Don Moretti where Steve Coyne planted the bomb and killed Don Moretti. Show how Derek Pappalardo was involved in the war and how he got rewarded the docks.)
DLC: Joe’s Adventures Remake (To this one they need to add cutscenes. Interesting point of view to see it when Vito was in jail but it lacked cutscenes. Let’s hear more about Tony Balls and Rocco.)
Mafia III Remake (A game with a lot of good elements, great story and great characters. Fix all the glitches and lighting. I had 2 problems with this game. Number 1 was that it was really repetitive. I don’t feel it had a good reply value like the other 2 games. I think this remake should make it chapter to chapter based so we don’t have to take over all those rackets again and again. Number 2 was that I didn’t feel it was so connected to the franchise. I felt with a remake where you add some chapters and some voice recording where you hear about some of the characters from Mafia I, II and IV would help a lot. And as I stated below I think Mafia IV should be a prequel to Mafia III being set in the gap of Mafia II and Mafia III. So therefore you could add Mafia III characters to Mafia IV’s story. Since it’s the 30th anniversary of The Salieri Family case then they should add a newspaper about it. Maybe tell that Detective Norman has retired. Make some references to Los Ondas and the mobsters there. Add again the cigarette cards and show the big mobsters of the 60s)
DLC: All Saint’s Day Massacre (It would be amazing to have a prequel to Mafia III about Sal Marcano and his brothers to see how they took over New Bordeaux. Let’s see how Sal tricked his brothers to kill Don Carillo and how Valerio Marcano died and let’s see some background to Sal’s brother Lucio. It would also connect us more to Mafia III’s story where this is the Marcano Family’s rise and Mafia III is their downfall. Would love to see a commission meeting with Sal where he introduces himself as the new don of New Bordeaux. Let’s see some more to Roman Barbieri, Frank Pagani, Gianni and Tony Derazio and Enzo Conti and how they got recruited. Let’s see Thomas Burke and Sammy Robinson and the rest of the Black Mob and how they ended up working for Sal Marcano and maybe their problem with the Haitians.)
Mafia IV (Set as a prequel to Mafia III in Havana and Florida. Inspired by Godfather II and Meyer Lansky’s story. Tell the story about Fredo Clemente. Let’s see Sal opening his casinos in Havana and how Tommy Marcano got to work for him. Let’s see the other families settling down in Havana. How did Fredo react when his brother died and wouldn’t he kill the 2 who did it? Maybe some families from other states where causing trouble. Maybe the families from Pennsylvania would like a slice of the casinos. Let’s see an introduction to Louie Romeo just to see him. Tell more about Nino Santangelo since he is cuban. Since the events of this game is taking place before Mafia III maybe we could see what happened to Lucio Marcano when he died in 1962. Make some references to Los Ondas and the mobsters there. Add again the cigarette cards and show the big mobsters of the 50s.)
DLC: Pennsylvania (Inspired by The Irishman, The Pittsburgh Family and The Bufalino Family. Let’s see some of the Mafia there and how they wanted to take control of some of the casinos in Havana. Show their connections to The Empire Bay families. Maybe Louie Romeo could be from this state.)
Mafia V (Inspired by Casino and Mickey Cohen’s and Bugsy Siegel’s story. Now this should be about Los Ondas and how the Mafia wanted to take control on the West Coast. Los Ondas should be Los Angeles and Las Vegas combined. It should take place from the 30s-80s. Let’s see when the commission from the East wanted Louie Romeo to make their move on the West. It would be interesting to see Los Angeles in the 40s-50s and Las Vegas in 70s-80s. Let’s see a war in the Las Vegas strip. This would take place at the same time as the other mafia games so make some references and cameos from the characters from the other games. Maybe Fredo Clemente and Louie Romeo could be in war so you could see it from 2 different perspectives. Mafia IV would be Fredo’s perspective and Mafia V would be Louie’s perspective. Since it also takes place after the events of the other games let’s see what happened to the families in those citys. Like we could see who was running Lost Heaven after the 30’s and who ran Empire Bay after the chaos that Vito, Joe and Henry has caused.)
DLC: San Francisco (Maybe a map expansion and show how the family operated there.)

My Strip is almost completely empty

To add insult to injury, the already barren Strip is almost entirely empty for me and I'm not sure why.
I have noticed that ever since I killed house, all three of the Strip zones have been very ghostly.
The Strip is only populated with NCR MPs, Securitrons, Mr Holdout and the clerks on the second zone.
The only hint of civilian presence are two traveller NPCs at the final zone and the odd gambler in the casinos themselves.
Is this a bug or a F E A T U R E, because I remember the Strip having a bit more life to it when I arrived.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Terminator Run.

https://preview.redd.it/mw19vjb82ct51.jpg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=50cd1e4397b66d024641ec0335ab81debb73444a
So a while back I did a 'terminator' run where I kill everyone in Human Revolution to see how the game reacts. I decided to try it again with MD to see how the game reacts. Turns out... not much.
Prologue- Doesn't seem to notice if you personally kill Singh. I also dropped the fire team, too, but it doesn't seem to have registered with the game either. Didn't have time to deal with the chopper, oh well.
Prague Act 1
Amusingly, when you attack the refugee augs in the poor district sewer, they'll use a stock NPC phrase about augs revolting.
Killing Edward or Irenka before you've registered a card will, obviously, fail that questline. The other one will also vanish.
In uptown Prague, if you shoot up some of the establishments, go to the poor district then come back, there will be police tape and sometimes cops there too.
If you go into a Naturals train car, and kill the cop that stops you after, they'll respawn but not be hostile.
TF29 proper is a peace zone, as is Koller's workshop. Praha Dovoz is not a peace zone and Marcie can be killed. Also she was the only NPC I was able to succesfully defenestrate. Ha-ha, historical hijinks.
Golem City
Starting your rampage at the beginning causes Dusan's wife to not spawn.
The cops can be hostile to Gallois and his guards and will kill them
Prague Act 2
If you kill the Tubehouse guy, the viewing party won't spawn
Even if you kill The Builder in Act 1, Josef Severn's body will still be found as normal in Act 2. Maybe he is MachineGod Jesus?
Masa Kadlek still spawns in the Red Queen, but won't give you her sidequest.
The merc at Future-Past Antiky will spawn and can be hostile with police.
If you kill Radich, the TF29 big board guy will say his body was found in a wheat field, even if you've also killed Otar. Maybe Otar is Divali Je- dammit I already made that joke.
Killing Dobromivila after she gives you the map, will have Jensen report to Delara that he got the map off her body.
The screams from the explosion at Stanek are not from NPCs but a seperate soundfile. Also, the two NPCs that gawk at the explosion spawn as part of the scripted event and not existing population.
Radich's message to Stanek plays even if he's dead, which makes sense as it's obviously pre-recorded. Side note, I shot at the TVs on a whim and apparently they don't shatter even after dumping a full mag of pistol in them.
Otar's Casino will repopulate if you've shot it up in Act 1.
At the fork I opted to do the Alison route, as I had already shot up the bank before in both acts. I also intentionally tanked the social combat scene, cause what am I doing here, a save people route?
If you stab Nomad before you go in the Church, he'll respawn after. Maybe he was only mostly dead?
So, if you don't give Miller OR Vega the Pocket Secretary, when Miller briefs you, Adam will talk as if he gave him the pocket secretary.
GARM
Not sure how I did it, but I unlocked a secret ending where Bob Page, David Sarif, and Tracer Tong throw Adam Jensen a surprise birthday party, then they all dance.
...Joking, of course. Nothing special happens here. Moving on...
Prague Act 3
The Punk in the Neon dealing apartment and the guy who lives in the apartment the cops bust into at Zelen complex both respawn.
There are two thugs in the Tourism center. Also, I'm sure it's been there in the previous acts before, but while I'm here, what the hell is a Serif truck even doing there in the first place?
APEX
Nothin. If you attack Tarvos at the start before initiating combat, Jensen will say they shot first. No special dialogue for openly killing people at the part either.

Why I hate fallout new vegas

When I first bought new vegas on pc I thought I was going to have a good time. For me the game started out fine I was enjoying it until I realized that I would have to do a dlc to actually afford a weapon that could kill something so I started the dead money dlc. That was the biggest mistake I have ever made. Dead money is awful and is the first time I actually considered killing myself IRL because of the amount of stress that dlc gave me (mainly the armored radios that blended in with the fog).
I completed the dead money dlc and made out of the dlc with 3 gold bars which I used to buy a GRA anti material rifle with all the mods you can attach to it (this is important later you will see why). Then I went and did honest hearts which did not have that much of a problem other than the whole environment blends together and the map does not help it that much.
After that honest hearts I began losing interest in new vegas. I decided to shelf the dlc for a while to focus on the main quest. I sided with yes man for the main quest and my first stop was to deal with the strip casinos. So I decided to start with the white glove society then move on to the omertas. Everything was going great with the white glove quest until it permanently bugged on me and I did not have a save to fall back to so I just killed everyone in there and when that failed I decided to tell yes man to ignore them and decided to do the same with the omertas.
so it was time to do faction quests for the brotherhood, great khans and the boomers and I distinctly remember why I stopped doing each faction quest. I completed the brotherhood questline normally, gave up on the great khans because I had no idea what to do and I stopped doing the boomers because it bugged
so I fought my way through the rest of the main quests for yes man and along the way became vilified with ceasers legion (This is where the anti material rifle comes in). So there I was minding my own business wandering the wasteland when 4 legionary assassins pop up out of nowhere and kill me in less than 10 seconds. This pissed me off so much that every time I would be wandering the wastes I would Have the amr equipped. So next thing you know I am just minding my own business and the 4 assassins encounter rolls again and this time I went for headshots with the amr and it barely made a scratch in their health and got killed again.
Around this point in the game I noticed the crashes got more and more frequent to the point where I almost always avoided the strip unless I absolutely needed to go there otherwise the game would crash. I tried fixing this by downloading an unofficial patch and for me all it did was make the game more unstable and make red triangles appear everywhere so I gave up on patching the game. it was several months after this where I wanted to complete as much as I could in the game and every time I tried it would negatively resonate with me. At one point I literally had to use the console to give me another plasma caster so I could repair my own because the only guy I could find in theetire game was only going to repair most of its durability for the absolutely bargain price of 15000 caps (which at that point in the game I could only get by gambling and I did not want to spend the time to do that ).
It was after that where I decided to shelf new vegas until the summer of last year where I actively tried to get in the game but I got extremely pissed and rage quit because a glitch happened with the cazador poison sound that made it so that it would not stop playing no matter what I did and my last save was an 1h before that. It was also in that playthrough where I realized how boring and uninteresting the story was and in some cases (more specifically lonesome road) it made me stop playing the game for almost 2 weeks and I have never done that with a game before or after new vegas just because of the story.
Why people call this game the best fallout game (even without talking about the bugs) is beyond me
