Atlantic City Trip Report 2/4-2/6 (my biggest AC win yet)

Due to COVID, Atlantic City casinos have gotten pretty aggressive with their free play offers to get good players in the door, and a nice batch of those offers lured me out this past weekend. I didn't want to be in town for the insanity of Super Bowl Sunday, so I got in Thursday night and left Saturday night.
If you don't know, Atlantic City isn't like Vegas with dozens of smaller casinos around. Atlantic City has 9 casinos, and 3 are on the same players card system (Caesars). I don't bother with Bally's since it's not convenient enough for the niceness or the comps they give, so each trip has 6 stops.
Most AC casinos have 5x odds, and a bunch of them have a weird version of 5x odds where a $30 pass line or come bet allows you to take $250 odds on 6/8, $200 odds on 5/9, and normal 5x odds of $150 on 4/10 (so any hit pays $330). I typically do $30 pass line and $30 come bets to get 4 total targets on the board, but on my own rolls I usually keep doing come bets until I 7 out. If a table is good I'll do $300 each 6 and 8 before doing come bets as well.
I started my trip off at Tropicana since that where I was staying. I brought $3k and got a $5k marker to start off, and instantly went on a nice run, winning a quick $2k and deciding to hit and run after less than an hour. I also had $100 free slot play and some dining credit, so I used those and got another $100 profit and some decent food.
Friday morning I headed over to Hard Rock for some nice free play ($500 table play and a $300 Amazon gift card). I did my free play over at BJ and won $250, then headed to craps. The table was rough for a bit, I was down $4k or so, but then I had an awesome roll, got up $3k and quickly cashed out. (+$5.4k running total)
Resorts is probably the worst casino in AC. Weak comps, bad free play, not many other benefits, terrible rooms (so I've heard), old, run down casino, etc. I still go there each trip since it's right next door to Hard Rock anyways, and it's nice to walk on the boardwalk in between them for a few minutes. I only do quick sessions there. I was up $1000 after my first roll there and just left right away. Some minor free play got me another $50 or something. (+$6.4k running total)
Next stop was Ocean casino. This was another rough table at first, leaving me down $3k rather quickly and considering just cutting my losses since the rolls were all particularly bad. However on my second time getting the dice I went on another nice roll, lasting about 40 minutes, and ending up turning a $3k losing session into a $5k winning one. I won a couple hundred off of free play as well and had a nice dinner at their VIP lounge. (+$11.7k running total)
Saturday morning I ventured out again, heading back over to Hard Rock for $300 slot free play. I won $300 off of that, and headed over to craps. At this point I'm up $12k and want to leave up at least $10k for the trip, so I only buy in $2k. Luckily, I have a hot run right off the bat, and wind up winning $3k over an hour session and leaving. (+$15k running total)
My second to last stop was Borgata. They only gave me $200 match play and some dining credit, and I broke even on the match play and headed to craps. It was very back and forth, but finally caught a decent roll and left up $1k. (+$16k running total)
Last stop was Golden Nugget. I won $300 off of free slot play and then jumped on the table, where I broke about even for a bit and then got the dice again, and had another 40 or so minute roll, hitting a ton of 4s and 10s. People were going nuts because I kept throwing hard way winners, and multiple people had $50-100 on them (I never bet hard ways). After my roll I instantly colored up and left with exactly $5k profit. This put my total winnings for the trip at $21.3k cash and the $300 Amazon gift card. Best of all, I never left a table down. Talk about a hot run. Not bad for a 48 hour trip!

Another 10 Overlooked Single Player Indie Games

There are also some links within the first link that discuss indie local multiplayer games as well.
Introduction
We're all familiar with the Hotline Miami's, Hollow Knight's, and Celeste's of the world. These are some of the indie games that hit the big time. Of course, for every one of these games, there's 100 other indie games that have been glossed over, relegated to a spot in a digital store few people will ever find themselves in. I wanted to bring attention to some of these lesser known indie games once again.
Details About the List
I'm going to order them according to Metacritic Critic Ratings. Two of the games towards the bottom have a pretty low rating that I personally disagree with, but it's only fair that you hear from more than just me. I’ve also selected a music track I enjoyed for each game for all you audiophiles out there.
Price will include a link to the U.S. store page of the game. Price is in U.S. dollars.
1. Ultra Hat Dimension
2. Bot Vice
3. Golf Peaks
4. Horizon Shift ‘81
5. Kero Blaster
6. Pato Box
7. Pumpkin Jack
8. SINNER: Sacrifice for Redemption
9. Tamashii
10. The Long Return
Have you played any of these games? What are some other overlooked single player indie games?

carrie santino, judy & dale in a can

Part one: Carrie Santino
In P18, Cooper stops at Judy's diner in Odessa, TX. He cops an attitude to the waitress when she offers him coffee. This is similar to P11 when Candie is pouring coffee for Bradley, and Rodney shoots her a look. Mitchums in P11, visuals connections to the couple at the diner in P18. At the diner, Cooper got Carrie's address and picked her up to take her to the Palmer house.
In P11, Cooper did dine with the Mitchums, at Santino’s restaurant. The lamps and lighting are similar to the Log Lady's (LL) place. Margaret offered coffee and pie to Hawk in P2, who was out and about in the woods following some lead that the LL also knew about. At Santino’s, Cooper chowed down on pie and had a coffee. This could be seen as a version of the LL's place, coinciding with a storyline where Hawk went to Margaret's that night, in that P2 pocket reality. Hawk in P12, like Cooper in P18, was also at the front door of the Palmer house (where Sarah had a bad attitude). Let's construct an alt version of the P18 scenario where Hawk in place of Cooper gets the address of a 'Carrie Santino' (her name has no ring to it, so she has no phone), linked to the LL and another characters, and goes to her place where he’s invited in.
In P1, the LL called Hawk with a hint about Cooper, which had something to do with his heritage. This is brought up again in P4, when sarcastic Chad entered the conference room (note: the actor who plays Chad is Italian). In P18, the dead man on the chair is linked to Chad - Chad said "right between the.." and then got knocked out from the cell door that hit him in the forehead, and the fella in the chair has a bullet hole in the same spot. This Carrie Santino might have a son who is a version of Chad, who sits on a chair when Hawk arrives (P7, after being let it: "let's sit down and have a nice chat/Chad"; P1 trio of fellas in chairs/seats).
In P7, after Hawk finds the diary pages in the bathroom (where Chad had seen him), he reports his findings to Frank. Hawk's ambiguous dialogue leaves open the possibility of multiple characters who could have said something - "She said that these words from Annie came to her in a dream" (what Laura 'said' in her diary), "This thing she said...the good Dale is in the lodge and can't come out" (what Annie said to Laura in her dream), and in P4 "That's what she said" (about what the LL said to Hawk on the phone). In one possibility, Hawk went to a Carrie Santino's place to find something out and reported back to Frank with something that she said.
In P4, Bobby mentioned that his mother told him that Cooper had stopped by the house the day before his father died, and shortly before Cooper skipped town. Chad had just left the conference room, a split second before Bobby entered (as if they aren't meant to appear in the same shot/world). The storyline with Betty Briggs and her son also fits into this Carrie Santino framework (with Chad and Bobby blending together), so that Betty takes the role of Carrie in P9. The trio of fellas went to her place and she said that years ago her husband Garland knew they would come to ask about Cooper and she was to give them the tube. So this Carrie Santino’s husband would also have been dead and would have known Cooper in the past. The LL's husband was named 'Sam' (who also died in a fire like Garland). Sam Stanley (SS; like ‘Sam Santino’) was a character in FWWM, Chet's sidekick on the Teresa Banks investigation, who randomly was estimating the value of things in Dear Meadow.
So a version of Cooper (or Chet) was missing in this pocket reality and Hawk went to a Carrie Santino's place, who had a son, and a husband (Sam?) that died years ago (parallel to Garland), because this Cooper or Chet had allegedly seen the husband shortly he disappeared or skipped town. Hawk then got some information from this Carrie (and maybe he found something else in the home, parallel to the P6 scenario in the bathroom where Chad/the son saw him, as well as the 'tube' scenario) and reported back to his boss. Since Cooper is on Albert and Gordon's team, Albert would seem to be involved in this framework, such that it could be blend of Hawk and Albert who went to this Carrie’s.
In FWWM, Sam Stanley was appraising the value of things around the station, morgue, diner etc in Dear Meadow. Cooper in S1 discussed purchasing property in town. This Sam may have been a real estate agent or appraiser, who went with Cooper to a house he wanted to purchase, and then Cooper went alone and vanished (along with the house and the home owner? parallel to Chet in FWWM and the trailer, which was linked to the Chalfonts). In P11 at Santinos, the old casino slot lady talked about getting a house and her son Denver back in her life. She may be parallel to old Mrs Chalfont whose house Dale found himself in with Laura in the FWWM dream sequence. If the casino lady's son is parallel to Chad, they might be another version of 'Carrie Santino' and son, which would make the story fold in on itself – such that, Cooper went to see the house years back, he vanished (along with the house and owner), then Hawk/Albert went to investigate and saw the wife of the man Cooper was last seen with, which would in a sense repeat the scenario if they were parallel to the Chalfonts. The theme of a repeated investigation (and home owners before home owners) is prevalent in the story.
[In Nolan's Memento, Carrie-Ann Moss and Joe Pantaliano are two characters that take advantage of Lenny Shelby’s condition (short term memory loss). MrC in P2 and P13 remind me of a character with a memory condition, going around in circles and being manipulated (and mocked) by Ray and Darya. It backfired on ‘Teddy’ in Memento and Lenny killed him. Ray and Darya’s deaths might be parallel to those two Memento characters. Moss and Pantaliano also had small roles in the Matrix. In S1E4, Albert comes to the station with two men that looked like Matrix agents. Albert cops an attitude with Lucy and Harry. Albert was said to be very skilled at what he did, he carries a case around in S3 and Ferrer is of Hispanic background. Albert may be a stand-in for skilled guitarist Carols Santana. Blend together 3 names – Santana, Carrie and Pantaliano and you can get: Carrie Santino. In S1, Albert said he had a lot of cutting and pasting to do with Laura’s corpse, but he was met with interference from Dr. H and company. In S3, Ruth and Garland are sort-of combined into one body on the bed. Perhaps it was some Albert (Santana’s) duty to cut (Garland’s man parts) and paste together Ruth and Garland to make a ‘Carrie Santino’ but we saw the unfinished version].
Part 2: Dale and Judy in a can
In Ferris Bueller's Day Off, the sister ‘Jeanie’ had a bad attitude (until she met Charlie Sheen's character). Here's the scene: Ferris Buller scene
In P7, Dr. Hayward mentioned a Mrs. Mueller to Frank, some woman who used Skype, and that he didn't need to get out of this chair to diagnose her. Frank's next scene was with Mrs. Briggs, who was on her computer, and a chair (Garland’s) is central to the scene. There's also a character named Buella who parallels Diane (robes, hairstyle). Switching letters in Mueller and Buella, you can get a Mrs. Bueller.
In P14, Diane says that she has a half-sister Jane, nicknamed 'Janey-E.' The first 'e' in Jeanie (Ferris's sister) could be moved to the end so it's 'Janie E' pronounced the same way as 'Janey-E.' Diane also said in P14 - "I don't want to talk about that night," a possible echo of Phillip's line about not talking about Judy. In the FBI’s hotel room, Diane is shot in P16 and right after that (P17) Gordon finally talks about Judy. So there's something to do with Judy around Diane and her half -sister.
Playing around with letters:
'Diane' & 'Jade' <-- 'Jeanie' & 'Dad'. In place of Jeanie sitting next to Charlie, imagine Jeanie sitting next to her dad (Mr. Bueller), or flip to the other side, Diane sitting next to Jade. Jade is a prostitute and Diane acts like one (one her characters in IE was a street hooker), so it's not hard to imagine them sitting together at some station in a cross-over world.
[Dad: When is 'dad' a character? In P5, Doris stormed into Hawk's office and yelled at Frank about her dad's car problems. Right after Doris slammed the door on her way out, Janey-E exited through her front door. Doris and Janey-E are both blonde, bossy housewives. Bushnell is around Janey-E a few times (notably at the station in P9 where Janey-E and Cooper sit), so if the characters/storylines are shuffled, Jane's dad could be represented by Bushnell in the story, a degree of separation from 'Jeanie & Dad']
In the above scenario, where two sit with a receptionist behind them in the background, if Lucy is that receptionist it could also be: 'Jane' & 'Dad' & 'Lucy' -- 'Judy' & 'Dale' & 'can.'
‘Can?’ In P16, Sonny Jim drinks soda from a cup. Just before Cooper wakes up, Janey-E takes him to the “little boys’” room. If there's a version with a can in place of a cup, Sonny Jim could be a little girl who was taken to the girls' room to pee. Relevance?
In P5, Dale goes to work at Lucky 7 insurance, he meets Phil Bisby and on the elevator ride up Phil presses the button to the 7th floor and says "7 Up." Later, Dale has to urinate and Rhoda takes him to the ladies' room. Let's say that Dale was inside or associated with a can of 7 Up, 'with' Judy (‘Mary’ in the elevator could be a stand-in for her). This can of 7 Up (link to ‘Lucky 7’) could be the can that some little girl was drinking out of in place of Sonny Jim in P16. When it was time for him to go out ("you can go out now") he'd be sucked up - maybe into Dale in the coma (his consciousness) or peed out - the swirl of the toilet may be like the vortex in P11 to the Convenience Store complex stairs, where Gerard later passes with Dale; the man urinating in P13 is credited as “Man in urinal”, is that linked to Gordon P11?)
In the P5 scene where Rhoda helps Dougie to the ladies' room, there are two views - one where she carries a large white key tag (no case files visible), and one where she doesn't have the large white key tag. In the latter, there's a brunette receptionist on a red chair (vs. the blonde in beige earlier) and we see the stack of case files. It follows that in the storyline in which there are no case files, Dale was with Judy in the can and then woke up at the hospital corresponding to when Sonny Jim peed. In the other version, with the case files, the Lucky 7 storyline continues into P6. [If Dale goes out, maybe Judy stays inside the can (related? 'waiting for someone' & can), represented by American Girl remaining in the room after Cooper leaves. Naido was also in that room. If some plot elements are rearranged, let's say Naido/Judy pulls the lever, Cooper falls out into non-Existence ('not Janey-E'?), Naido shifts to Lucy, back at the station with 'Jane' & 'Dad' sitting on the sofa, and thus Dale ceases to exist].
Putting more things together & summing up: In S1, Albert with a cocky attitude came to the station to do tests on Laura’s corpse and interacted with Lucy at the front desk (the trio may be a stand-in for a Carrie Santino, and/or on the flip side the scenario could be Hawk coming to get an address of this Carrie, to ask her about Cooper). Later in S1, Albert wanted Cooper to sign a complaint form after he was clocked by Harry, but Cooper declined and out of the blue told ‘Diane’ he wanted to look into purchasing property in town. Back to Lucy – if elements are shifted and this Lucy was drinking from a can of 7-UP (‘Lucy’ an alternative to 'Lucky' in Lucky 7, which would replace the hospital scenario as well) when this Albert or Hawk came in looking for the address of ‘Carrie Santino' and this Lucy goes to pee and flushes the toilet, a dimensional portal might open up, and the scene might shift to her as the receptionist and ‘Jane & Dad’ sitting together (and Dale not existing)? Correspondingly, the vortex might appear at the Chalfont house [and/or in Carrie’s, and suck up this Albert/Hawk (ceiling fan P12 = vortex stand-in; Palmer house P17 linked to the sky vortex), so that Albert/Hawk gets taken up by the same wormhole or whatever that made Cooper disappear] (this would also be linked to Hawk's P2 trip to the red room portal where Hawk and Cooper potentially crossed paths; Mrs Chalfont's house is also linked to the red room). Something like that! Needs work but elements are in place. [Also, in P3 there was a car crash after Cooper got sucked out of the purple place - maybe the story resets around these events so that Cooper crashes his car on the way back from seeing Sam/Garland (and Albert/Hawk and Gordon/Frank's memories reset, like in P14), and the team gets news in P3 and goes to see him in P4 and on and on..]

888Casino Weird ass ban (bonuses)

So recently my account was restricted on 888Casino and they required some ID documents... Fair enough, sent over my provisional. Waited 3-4 days and now my account is unlocked. I then receive an email stating:
"Dear [REDACTED],
This is the Operations Team at 888casino and we are contacting you with regards to your account with username [REDACTED]
Thank you for sending in the recently requested documents which have now successfully passed our verification process. As a result any restrictions which may have been imposed on your account have been removed.
Furthermore we’ve noticed certain patterns in your gaming activity that alerted us to behaviour that is inconsistent with our philosophy of rewarding members for their loyalty and patronage.
This activity may include any of the following, but are not limited to; repeatedly depositing during promotional events to maximise the bonus amount in play on your account, deposits followed by withdrawals once the bonus is awarded, participating in slot races almost exclusively with bonus money and other signs of taking advantage of our offers, rewards, and bonuses.
At this time, we have taken the decision to remove the option of receiving any bonuses on your account for the foreseeable future. You are welcome to continue using your account to enjoy other aspects of our gaming experience.
Please note that you are not eligible for Casino Race bonuses as well as all other bonuses."

The funniest part is this, I have not won anything so to speak. There is nothing to withdraw, they gained £40 from me when I put that in my account to play around with. I created my account last week after seeing some livecasino blackjack games and thought it would be fun to try. I got a bonus from signing up which granted me up to 100% of whatever I deposit to a maximum of £100 I believe.
During my blackjack games I pretty much lost my £40 and had the bonus money to play around with. The most I had made it up to was £700 but I was unable to withdraw as money won from bonuses have to be WON up to at least 30x the amount of the bonus. So essentially 1.2k minimum.
I have lost all of that from playing (oh well it was fun) and ever since that happened they have now restricted me from receiving bonuses. That is the only bonus I have received and used since my account has been active. This is my first time gambling on any website and blackjack seemed the easiest so I stuck with that.
888Casino, fuck off... You gained £40 from me and I have not won anything or been able to withdraw anything from you. Why essentially ban me from a small portion of your website which I have not misused. You gave me the offer and I played normally... I have not done anything you have stated. Such bullshit man, I wanted to play for fun and I did just that.
If anyone has any doubts I can literally show my gaming history in FULL. Gonna be a hell of a lot of screenshots, I essentially started on the 21st of this month with a couple slot games which then moved on to BJ for the rest of my time, I stayed with that and played how anyone would play by using the Basic Strategy WHICH 888 THEMSELVES RECOMMEND. Royally fuck your services truly. I would understand your very sad frustration if I had withdrawn any winnings from your platform but I gained nothing from you except a "fuck you nemesiii for giving us money now we're going to restrict you"
Suck, your mum.

Playing blackjack for the first time.

Heading the casino this Saturday. Normally only play slots and go once every other month or once a month so I got a good idea what I’m doing there but I’ve never played in person blackjack.
Been watching some videos and playing a little online and I feel I’m ready for it. Gonna only bring $100 for BJ and going at 10am so hoping to find a $5 table.
Any tips for a first time players session?

Cant get over these losses, huge relapse

This entire year I have been on a bad gambling spree. If I ever won any money, it was immediately lost within the week gambling. I have lost around $10k this year alone. I turned 20 a few months ago and I feel as though I will never be satisfied. I have been just chasing a decent win so I can be satisfied in my mind and get over these losses. But this win never comes. I have no self control, and though I rarely ever will just go gamble by myself when I feel the urge, I simply can not say no to anyone who asks if I would like to gamble whether it be go to the casino, online betting, placing a sports bet I will simply always do it. my roommate/close friend came up with the idea to go to the casino on Halloween out of the blue. (He knows I am a severely cumpulsive gambler and has physically seen me lose at least 20k since I’ve been able to gamble). I had been clean for about 2 months after and losing about 10k in one week in online casinos. I walk into the casino with $1500. I think to myself there’s no way I walk out of here at at least even after starting up 650 within the first 20 minutes because of a freeplay on slots. After this I lose $100 in war in about 2 minutes. After this I leave war and me and my friend go play this game called beat the dealer. In the span of about 10 minutes I lose $400, i was max betting ($100) and tied 3 times which is a loss. At this point I’m agitated that most of my winnings are gone already and decide to go back to blackjack my game of choice. At the $50 table I lose my last $300 in cash and decide to go to the high limits by myself. I take my $1k in chips I had from bj before and I stick to $100 bets in blackjack and lose it all so quickly after just 2 horrible shoes (2 decks). My friend started spectating me and watches me lose most of the chips somewhat amused. He just sits back and watches me while I cash out my slot and roulette vouchers of a few hundred and watched me take another $1000 out of the atm without saying a word. I switch to the 6 deck high limit in hopes my luck will be better. I just keep losing and am down another 700 or so. I decide I must bet bigger and that I will win because I’m on a losing streak. I start playing 2 hands. 200$ each. I get a 10 and a soft 17 against a 3 up card. Double down on both of them face down. Dealer pulls 18. She flips my cards over I end up getting 2 14s and that was the rest of my money. Literally all the money I have to my name. Just wanted to make clear I do not blame anyone but myself for this. No one forced me to do anything but unfortunately I am my own worst enemy. I wish I knew when I was on a bad streak because I always think I will break out of it, and I will just not stop betting until all my money’s gone or I’ve been there for many hours and I’m up. I don’t know what to do basically every penny ive ever worked for in my short life has been lost by gambling. I was actually financially stable for once in my life. I will do good for a few months and not gamble but then when I get a decent amount saved up I’ll somehow end up gambling and losing it all every single time... someone please help me I have been feeling like I do not want to live anymore I already have issues with depression and anxiety and this has made everything much worse. At work all I can think about is how it will take me 2 months of work every day to get those losses back and it’s been consuming my mind.

I won over $40,000 in the last 24hrs at a casino

My birthday was 2 weeks ago and one of my best friend's birthday is tomorrow. We decided to have a joint party in Lake Charles, LA. I brought $1100 with me + $100 I received from my parents for my birthday.
We arrived at the casino around noon on Saturday and went straight to the casino pool. We drank and had fun for a few hours before gambling. I won about $2,000 on blackjack and we went to bed. I bought breakfast, lunch, and dinner for my friends the next day.
On Sunday, we hit the pool and got drunk (again) then went back to gambling. I played more BJ and was doing great but things turned and I ended up losing $1,000. I started tilting and drinking more. I colored up with $300 left in chips. After a few drinks, I went back and put the $300 on one hand of BJ. Lost it. I was more tilted.
I decided to leave my friends at the BJ table and went to a slot machine. Being on tilt, I decided to just go nuts and ended up putting a $100 bill after another. I was playing $8.80/spin so it goes quick. I was ready to be done with this trip and head back to the hotel to go home.
After feeding the machine about $500-600, I hit the grand jackpot for 3.49million pennies. What's crazy is that I won because I hit a bonus that required me to choose three random puzzles to get it. My first two picks were for the grand bonus and a random lady came from behind me and pressed the third.
I hit the $35,000 grand jackpot. I gave the random lady a little over $1,000 and then spent $1,500 on bottle service/partying.
I'm still in shock. I tipped everyone and gave my friends hundreds. I deposited $33,000 to my bank account today. They asked a lot of questions. I had to show them my tax paperwork. I'm expecting an additional $3,000 LA tax reurn from the day but will have to pay 24% in federal taxes.
Still in shock.

Star Casino Review

Star Casino is an online casino website based in Italy. Ever since it was founded in 2012, the casino has gathered several noteworthy accolades. The casino is operated by Betsson Group, a Maltese company and subsidiary of Betsson AB. This company has been in the gambling business since the 1960s and has earned an excellent reputation since then.
Back in 2010, online gambling was legalized in Italy and as a result, many foreign and domestic companies could release their online casinos to the general public. All they had to do is gain a license from the Autonomous Administration of State Monopolies, or AAMS (from Italian) for short, which sets the standards and regulations for games of chance and skill, casino games, sports, and horse race betting. Star Casino is indeed licensed by this government institution.
Star Casino has all the right stuff going for it and in 2012 it was named Casino Operator of the Year at the eGaming Review (EGR) Awards in London. The games are provided by NetEnt, which means that StarCasino hosts some of the best slot games out there, as well as live and virtual game tables. Games diversity is excellent and there is something for everyone here. Slots

The majority of StarCasino’s gaming portfolio consists of slots and the casino has nearly 200 of them on offer. A player may go on for days and weeks before they can experience every single game in this section. As with most NetEnt games, the graphics are beautiful and clear, while the music is immersive and engaging from the beginning.
Veteran slot fans can immediately play their favorite Starburst, Gonzo’s Quest, Twin Spin, Wild Wild West, and much more. Additionally, you will also find slots themed with various popular culture intellectual properties such as Guns n’ Roses, Batman, and The Flash, among others. The games impress not only with their visual and audio quality but with a number of great features as well, including profitable symbols like wilds and scatter, and free spins rounds.

Blackjack

Blackjack players will be delighted to know that the casino hosts several blackjack games. The blackjack selection is not as extensive as what some other casinos have to offer, but the games stand out with top quality. You can expect to find Single Deck Blackjack, BJ Double Exposure, Pontoon, Ventuno, and Blackjack Champion.
The games are exceptionally authentic, so players will never again think of visiting a land-based casino in order to enjoy their favorite game of twenty-one. Additionally, you can engage in Live Blackjack games that are hosted by professional croupiers with years of experience behind their back.

Poker

The casino has provided some excellent poker games to its loyal clientele. Players who are new to poker and therefore, lack the required experience and skill, can try out some of the available video poker variations including staples such as Jacks or Better Double Up, Joker Wild Double Up, All American Double Up, and Deuces Wild Double Up.

Supported Devices

In order to play at StarCasino, all you need to have is a stable Internet connection and an Internet browser. All games are run using Adobe Flash Player, so make sure that you have downloaded it from the Adobe website or that it is embedded in your browser. Luckily, all modern commercial browsers, such as Opera, Chrome, Safari, and Mozilla Firefox, come with a pre-installed Flash Player so you need not worry about anything when playing.
If you do not wish to be tied down to your computer or laptop, or if you are on the go but still want to play, you can do so on your smart device. The site supports a mobile version for smartphones and tablets, running on iOS and Android. Games are adapted for mobile use and are optimized to fit the smaller display, while still retaining their usability and rendering information just as well as on your desktop computer. What you have to also keep in mind is that some games may not run on your mobile device. There is no official post listing the unsupported games so you would have to find that out on your own.
At the present moment, StarCasino does not offer a native downloadable app for smartphones or tablets when other similar websites go out of their way to provide one to their player base. However, StarCasino is more than likely to change this omission in the near future.
The experience of playing on a mobile browser may prove to be sub-par compared to that on a dedicated app or on a desktop computer. Different smartphones perform differently and some players may not have any issues, while for others, it may be unplayable. It is recommended that you play on a newer device as those have way fewer problems in terms of performance and stability.

Bonuses and Promotions

Star Casino offers enticing bonuses and promotions for new and returning players. The Casino offers a no deposit bonus of €10. The Welcome Bonus rewards you with 200% of your deposit up to €100. Your second deposit will get you a 200% bonus up to €200. When depositing for the third time you will receive a bonus of 200% of your deposit up to €300, while the limit of your fourth deposit goes up to €400. The site does not mention the wagering limit on these bonuses, so it is better to turn to customer service to make sure what their terms are.
The casino offers a loyalty point system for long-time players. Every €5 played on slot machines, or €10 wagered on video poker and table games, will earn you points which you can later redeem for cash. The minimum you can convert is 100 points, which equals €1. Any money gained via this loyalty point system must only be wagered one time so that you may keep your winnings from it.
Star Casino also offers weekly or monthly bonuses for a limited time, where you have a chance to gain a cash bonus, free spins or if luck was not on your side you may recover a portion of your money. These offers are diverse and fun, so each time you will have a different experience. They also change on a regular basis so check the Promotions page to see what is currently available.

You are required to withdraw using the same method that you deposited with. The casino works only with EUR and if you deposit in any other currency, the casino will convert it to EUR at the current exchange rates.

All Accepted Methods

Customer Support

As mentioned above, StarCasino received the Best Services Operator award in 2012 at the EGR in London. They have supplied multiple methods of communication should you wish to contact them with a problem or a question. The most convenient way would be to call them at over the telephone. Another way to get in touch is via email, at [email protected]. The third option is to use the live chat system on their website. All operators speak excellent Italian and will be able to assist you with any and all problems. Customer Service is available to players seven days a week.
Customer Service and the website itself are available only in Italian. You have to keep that in mind if you are an international player and wish to make use of the casino’s services.

Licensing and Restricted Countries

Star Casino is one of the most respected casinos on the Italian gambling market. It holds a license issued by the Autonomous Administration of State Monopolies (AAMS from Italian), which regulates and sets the standards for casinos operating in the jurisdiction of the Italian Republic. Additionally, their random number generation systems are tested regularly by TST, a reputable firm known for guaranteeing the randomness of online casino games. With all this in place, players can rest assured knowing that their results are truly random and are not tampered with.
Star Casino is primarily directed at the Italian market and is not intended for international users. Despite this, players from foreign countries may attempt to register on the website. On the registration page, you will be asked to supply proof of identification and enter some personal information. This is a standard requirement for every well-established online casino with an AAMS license. If you manage to register you have to keep in mind that the website and the support service provided by its agents are exclusively in Italian, so if you do not speak the language, you will have a hard time here.

Question - quickest and/or most Cost-Effective way to hit chrome (to qualify for freerolls) on Ignition/Bovada?

At 2500 "Miles" (i.e. poker points) you qualify for their weekly freerolls, which is what I'm aiming for beyond just continuing to develop my game. Here's the structure for poker:
So question 1) looks like Zoom is gonna be the way to go for the micros?
More interested in the casino games though (strictly for grinding those miles), which have the following reward structure:
My tentative plan for now is to aim for 500-1k miles through casino games and just let the rest (I have about 1500 to go IIRC) accumulate naturally through rake, with a focus on Zoom. Hence question 2) are the slots rigged badly enough to make the 5 miles/$1 ratio more or less cost-effective for grinding miles than the 1:1 ratio of blackjack, given its 51% house edge? (Assuming they at least give players the 49% with their BJ instead of fixing it up too lol)
For context my poker skills are mediocre, I win at the micros reasonably consistently (if slowly/steadily) when I keep my tilt reigned in, punctuated by the occasional glorious punt when I do get tilted, overall I'm treading water, probably in the neighborhood of +0.5 or +1.5 BBs/100. I do try to improve my game but my main reason for playing is just 'cuz it's fun.
I'd like to play more MTTs but I'd rather keep my bankroll dedicated to cash and SnG's, so finally hitting Chrome for the freerolls will be a nice milestone when I get there. Figured this sub would have some good insight into these questions, especially if any of you guys have grinded to Chrome on Ignition and/or know much about their casino games.

Had One of my Best Sessions on Monday

At Mt Airy in the Poconos. First day off since from work. Arrived about 1:15 in the afternoon to two of three tzbles open at $5 minimum...full table crews operating tables limited to three per side, so 5 employees for 6 players. Brutal economics for the casino.
Face masks required. One player bought in and had a scarf around his neck and lower face that really did not function as a mask. He was told mask on, we can provide one, or you can't play and must leave the casino. Employees had a choice of a mask or a large clear plastic face shield. Oh, no Lcohol served at the table, and the bar on the gaming floor was closed. Alcohol served only in the restaurants (there are two) if you are seated and order a meal. Two weeks earlier. Drinks were widely available.
I had $400 from home (I thought) in my pocket and picjed up $400 more on the way for "other expenses." Turns out I left the $400 in my other pants, so I avoided the $4.95 on site ATM fee.
Bought in for $100 and immediately started gaining slowly. After the come out I was playing $5 5/9 and a $5 Come Bet. A number not a hit would go up and I woukd bring either 5 or 9 to the come. A hit would and I would take $2 odds. Bring down the place bet to the Come and put $5 back on the Come. Unless my Come bet was wiped early by a Craps roll, that would be all I bet on a shooter, $15.
If the next hit were a 5 or 9, add $2 odds and stay in the Come. Any other number rack it.
Now, since I've laid out only $15 in total, once I have that $15 back in my rack, I put it back into my chip stack. From then on, I will alternate between adding $2 to the 5/9 odds on roll 1, racking my win kn the next win, then putting 5 odds in the middle...as long as there are chips available from winnings and I don't go back into the original $15.
First sesh with $100 buyin I walked with $308. Table was good and I was rolling decently. I treat my own roll the szme except for the initial line bet and being a bit more aggressive about adding odds.
After visiting a friend at the slots, the second session started with a $100 buy in. I got that up to $283 before taking another short break with friend I met there. In that second session I had every number covered with odds and started betting $6 in the field. Every time it hit, I tipped the dxtra dollar of winnings and left the otiginal $1 up there. Third session was before dinner. Bought in for $100 walked away with $151.
After dinner, it was a $10 table and there was a wait to get back on. I lost $60 playing $10 BJ.
Finally went back to the craps table and bought in for $40. Lost that then bought in for $100. I ran that up to $196 and had to leave.
Overall, the day couldn't have gone better.

Day 21ish

Figured I might as well post here, not a throwaway acc. since nobody I know personally knows this acc.
I started gambling about 3 years ago. for reference: this is Germany, so gambling is allowed in regular bars. it started off easy when going out with colleagues drinking after work and putting 10 bucks in a slot machine. win or loss didn't matter it was never the point of the evening. won a couple of times but given the bets, the wins weren't big. at best it was enough to pay for the beers that night.
ended up drifting over to online casinos to play Poker and BJ. for the next 2 years this wasn't really an issue. I have looked at everything I spend vs. the return and it was only about 3000 down or so over a period of 2 years. so very roughly a 100 a month in play budget and I had fun playing.
this changed when corona hit and everyone went into lockdown. the company sends us all home to work from there and bars/clubs etc. all just closed.
I ended up getting really bored in the evenings and so I turned to gamble since in the past I always enjoyed playing. The first signs were there, I didn't get any joy out of small reasonable bets anymore. wins had to be big or they didn't even register anymore. so I quickly went from 50 cent - 1 dollar bets to a minimum of 10 $ and quickly after that to a minimum of 50 $.
this actually worked for about half a year. my losses were big but so were my wins. I usually ended up in that bad place where I already put a lot of money down and lost it so I added more funds in the hopes of winning them back and for about 6 months this actually worked. I ended up 5000 down and made it back up to 5k and then cashed out. just to cover the losses.
By this point, gambling wasn't even fun anymore. I had no enjoyment from it but I kept doing it.
Eventually came the day where I fucked it all up. 5k down, then ended up 17k plus and was actually for once enjoying myself again. so instead of doing the reasonable thing and cashing out I decided whats the harm in keep playing. I'm already plus. well everyone can guess what happened. I ended up playing even bigger stakes than usual, BJ bets of 2.5k won a few lost most. started playing defensively and just trying to avoid busting. In the end, the dealer took it all and then some.
that was the moment for me where I realized this became a problem. I lost 15k USD in one night I only enjoyed at most 1 hour of it.
reading through a lot of the other posts here, I guess I got lucky in recognizing the problem early on and facing it so my losses are still in a very manageable realm.
there are 2 points to this post however, this is not supposed to be a "poor me, feel bad for me" post.
I got exactly what I deserved and what I reasonably knew would happen. The house always wins otherwise gambling would not be a thing. Luckily for me I only ever played when I was drunk, I never once had the need to gamble while I was sober. So I don't have to deal with thoughts about wanting to gamble during the day.
  1. just for myself, I'd like to add a reminder on this account, that this is what happens when I make stupid choices when drunk.
  2. as a suggestion for others (and myself), the crisis has reminded me how privileged I actually am. I have a lot of friends/acquaintances in 3rd world countries who do not have the benefit of a government support system if all goes to hell (and the ones I'm friends with, mostly work in hospitality) and the world comes crashing down around them. For myself, I found a temporary fix to spending money on casinos in giving it away to people to whom these amounts are lifechanging. Whenever I had a drink now and get home instead of adding a thousand or so to my gambling acc. I just send that money to someone I know. the money is gone, but it didn't go to some large corporation hellbent on draining the last cent out of a person but instead, it went to someone who now can look at their family and actually say it's going to be alright. And this for me at least makes a massive difference. It is so much better waking up to a message of "thank you, you just made sure we don't have to starve" compared to "thanks for losing all your money in our casino, here are 100 bucks "free money" to get you to spend the rest of what we can drain you for"

Suspicious/ Am I being watched?

First let me start out by saying I understand that long losing streaks in blackjack are a common thing.
I am by no means saying that this online live Blackjack room is doing something to make sure I lose. I'm fully aware that this just might be a super total coincidence. I am posting this to Simply see everyone else's opinion on the matter and if anyone else has heard of anything like this.
For now the room name and question will remain anonymous. I have never had any problems cashing out on this site.
Enough babbling here's the story.
I am mainly a poker player on this website. I have success with that and also with sports betting. Never really been a huge slots or table games kind of guy. However earlier this month I started to mess around with the live dealer Blackjack on the site.
For the month I am up around $12,000 from blackjack alone. So yes I realize that that would be considered running hot and I got extremely lucky to do so. I mainly played it to have a little fun and will always chat with the players at the table and the dealer as well. So I was always watching the chat feature The only time I would ever see BJSupport join the table was if someone had a problem or if the game occasionally glitched and forgot to pay someone.
A week ago I had withdrawn a large amount of my blackjack winnings.
I have played 6 sessions of blackjack since then and have probably lost back around $3000. ( oh well.. Thats gambling )
Again I want to stress that I am fully aware that long crazy losing streaks happened and that they are unavoidable. I probably won 5 out of the past 60 hands and have had BJ tie with the dealer about 4 times. So yes a crazy losing streak. It's one of those losing streaks that's so bad you just have to laugh at it.
The 6th session today was kind of the Tipping Point on the suspicion scale so to speak.
Had an extra 30 minutes this morning to spare so figured play a few hands of blackjack. Started off decent for the first 15 minutes. Then BJSupport entered the table. This was the longest it's taken them in the past five sessions to join the table once I had cashed out. I then proceeded to lose the next 10 hands. Again this could be a total coincidence.
However my concern isn't with the losing streak itself. It's the fact that literally 2 minutes after I have sat down at the table the past 5 sessions BJSupport joins the table and is watching. Not chatting with anyone or helping. Simply watching.
I even tested this on an empty table. I sat down, and before I could even finish the first hand they joined.
I don't plan on playing Blackjack again on this site anytime soon because of this. I was fortunate enough to be able to make some extra profit so I consider myself lucky.
Am I Wrong to be paranoid this much? Again let me stress by saying that Blackjack support was never in the chat of the table except for helping others which was rare. Now all of a sudden everytime I sit down they are 2 minutes or less behind me. Even if no one is at the table but me.
I'm not saying that they are switching the cards out somehow I don't even know if that's possible with the dealer shoe that they use. And them being at the table when I lose could just be a total coincidence. But is this something that casino rooms do after you cash out Blackjack winnings. They just watch you?
Also I hate repeating myself but this is the internet. I am fully aware that super long losing streaks can happen so if anyone thinks that that is what I'm complaining or concerned about is 100% wrong.
I would love to hear everyone's thoughts and opinions on this.
Total coincidence or is something fishy going on?
Thanks for your time have a wonderful day!

Introduction to Kalevala Casino

Tailored to meet the demands of the Finnish audience, Kalevala Casino is home to fast and safe transactions, which include several different banking methods. This brand, along with two more well-positioned in our directory, operates under the umbrella of affiliates which are specialized in delivering interesting promos.
Supplied by some of the most renowned content producers, this hub proudly displays multiple games. From freshly-baked titles to all-time favorite hits, the operator made sure to cover everything, so to be interesting to as a range of clients as possible.
The fact that their name…
…actually represents a 19th-century work of epic poetry from Karelian and Finnish oral folklore and mythology is already intriguing enough to inspire us to explore this brand thoroughly.
Stay with us to find out more about this entertainment facility which claims to be the right place for people from the Land of the Thousand Lakes.
Tip: The Standard Customer Due Diligence (CDD) will be applied when accumulated deposits reach 2000€ in a time span of 180 days.

Kalevala Casino Games

When we say BTG, SYNOT, Pragmatic Play, Evolution Gaming, Eyecon, Booming Games, we don’t have to elaborate a lot about immense quality hidden beneath all those names. And these are just some of the creative factories whose content can be found in Kalevala Casino’s library.
Which games can be found in their portfolio?
Slots and JPs: Book of Dead, Piggy Riches Megaways, Immortal Romance, Gemix, Vault of Anubis, Wheel of Wishes, Grand Gems, Multifly!, All-Star Knockout, Wild Krakatoa, Jewel Scarabs and many other releases.
Table Games: Caribbean Stud, Casino Hold’em, Red Dog, Texas Hold’em, etc.
You see…
…when we said “everything”, we meant within the limits of slot games, as other categories are either non-existent or equipped with a minimum selection. We haven’t discovered any Baccarat, BJ, Roulette, Video Poker, and all those player favorites which are usually available casinos-wide.
On another note, one can test the games in demo mode, prior to making deposits. Also, the lobby is neatly arranged, allowing punters to find the desired title quickly.

Kalevala Mobile Casino

Having a unique story inspired by epic poetry is the first step to draw customers’ attention- but how to keep them interested?
It’s far away from a complicated science…
…as it boils down to single detail- cross-platform optimization. And Kalevala Casino made sure not to miss it.
Wherever you are, whichever device or operating system you use, you will be able to browse this platform smoothly. Of course, provided that a loyal company of reliable internet connection is by your side as well.

Mobile Games

Thanks to a highly intuitive and easily adjustable interface, the ease of navigation will be the same as it is on desktop. The wealthy assortment of digital one-armed bandits will look equally simple to explore, allowing you to activate your favorite game while out and about.

Loyalty Program

Unfortunately, we have encountered no precise information related to any scheme with incentives, but we did discover the following statement:
“The maximum daily/weekly/monthly withdrawal amount depends on the payment method You have selected and on Your loyalty status.”
>> Play for Free Now <<
We won’t play any guessing games…
…that’s for sure, but at least it gives a hint that there may be some special incentives. However, what it takes to unlock them and which are the rules to follow is still unknown.
What compensates this lack is an introductory package, tied to the first three deposits. It depends on the amount of money one decides to place. Moreover, there’s a possibility to collect iron and gold coins while playing and when the meter is full, these credits can be used to purchase bonus spins or even real money.
“Before opening an account with Kalevalakasino, we ask that you kindly familiarise yourself with the Terms and Conditions below. Knowing the rules and agreeing with them ensures your casino experience is as smooth as possible.”
Quite a coincidence, isn’t it?
That’s EXACTLY what we ask you as well, not only for this specific brand but for any other which has caught your attention. Only a thorough understanding of all rules will minimize the possibility to end up in an unpleasant scenario, and most certainly maximize the chances to have a memorable experience.
Referring to their interest…
…in customizing services for Finnish clients, it’s interesting to mention that this jurisdiction pays special attention to gambling-related marketing content on TV and radio ads. Finland’s Police and Transport and Communications Agency, Traficom, are some of the institutions dealing with illegal ads prevention.

Conclusion

Remember the “umbrella” we mentioned at the beginning? Well, the other brands belonging to the same group include LuckyDino, CasinoJEFE, and Olaspill, of which the first two have received numerous positive comments from the community.
So, what about this brand, where does it stand?
As for the pluses, the versatility of slot games surely deserves high grades, and the registration package looks fine as well. A solid assortment of player protection methods is among the bright sides, showing that the venue does put efforts to create a safe environment.
There’s a decent number of banking options, such as Nordea, Aktia, Pop Pankki, Handelsbanken, etc., as stated-all enabling instant processing time.
However…
…some significant reinforcement in the form of more types of release would certainly be a nice addition to this Malta-licensed facility. More detailed information regarding the Loyalty scheme and better selection of promo packages would add more points as well.
Until those weak points are corrected…
…we could say that Kalevala Casino is an average brand, with plenty of room for improvement. Surely, there’s always a practice mode to take a closer look and decide whether what it has to offer is what you are looking for.

Repobet Şikayetleri

Güvenilir bahis sitelerini bulmak her zaman kolay olmayabilir.

Repobet 1250 TLye an itibariyle çökmüş bulunuyor, hayatımda BJ, rulet, pokerden anlamam sadece slot oynarım. bu sitede onu bile oynamadım. 100 TL yatırıp 100 TL papara bonusu aldım. cyber league de parayı 1250 tl yaptım. ve üyeliğime girdiğimde bütün paramın BJ ye basıldığını gördüm. bu siteye kesinlikle yatırım yapmayın. Şifremi değiştirmişler, saat 03.33de üyeliğime girmeye çalıştığımda şifre yanlış diyordu şifreyi yenileyip girdiğimde bakiyemin 0 olduğunu gördüm.
📷

From fairy-wheels to loosing everything

tldr: posted under new account, life story, will update. take care.

______
It was an early autumn morning in Mars, the nurse was ready to deliver yet another baby, as she did the day before that, and the day before. But this kid was not like every other, when everybody felt satisfied, he just wanted more and more.
He grew up like many others, in a loving family with a somewhat older brother. They lived in a normal house, in a normal town and had a good and stable financial situation. There was always money for food, family vacations and all the interests a young lad could have at the time.
Life went on, and Billy did not really face any problems or risks, he grew up problem-free. He had good grades, good friends and fun interests. But already then you could see he was different. In his family, they always went to the local ferris-wheel, where you had spinning wheels where the prize was candy, stuffed animals or similar. Billy's siblings would spend a dollar here and there, sometimes they won and most times they lost. But Billy spent all his money, and he had to ask for more as he couldn't afford lunch. He was hooked. The following trips Billy was already ready, he saved up money, and spent it all at the wheels. Billy never won - but he never learned that the house always wins.
The clock ticks on and all of the sudden Billy becomes a teen. He had not done much in life, like many others. His biggest interests where to play CS:GO, which lead to not having that many friends in real life, as he lived online. This is where he started gambling for real, he started betting cs-skins on jackpots and odds. He never won big, he just continued to deposit what he could every month. Losing and losing, even if he won it would only take a day or two before it was gone again.
When Billy started high-school, playing games was not that fun anymore so he started partying. Got a nice girlfriend, a lot of fake friends that come with partying and months went past really fast. They broke up, and as the girlfriend introduced him to most of his friends, they left him as well. Now Billy was alone, isolated, and had nothing to do. So he started playing CS again, and soon started gambling.
---
This is where Billy started getting the knack for poker, he started studying the game vigorously. And he won - lots of money, at least for 17 year old Billy. And no one knew, he did not really have anyone to show it to either. Life went on, of course there were losses, but Billy was on a winning streak. He soon became 18, and started playing both IRL and online. Half a year later Billy won the national cup for Hold'em Heads Up, with a big cash prize on the top. Billy had more money than he ever had before, so he spent it stupidly. (bottle service and cocaine).
Suddenly, poker stopped paying, and Billy was furious. What had been so easy before was now impossible, he was losing and he was mad. That's when he found the golden ticket, slots. First time he played the slots he had deposited 200$, and won 10.000$. He was happy, he felt like a genius. Four days later that money was gone. Not spent in the clubs, it went right back to the casino.
As many before him, he thought this was something that happened for everyone. And he wanted it to happen again. Deposit after deposit, over several years. Losing and losing. Poker was too slow now, it had to happen fast. So he either played slots or high stakes BJ. Of course always in the end loosing. When Billy thinks about it, even though he has won several thousands, he had spent maybe a grand total on other things than gambling from these winnings.
---
And I am Billy, sitting here after a huge loss. Having absolutely nothing to my name expect the clothes on me and some shitty furniture in my apartment. I'm in debt, but i'm floating on save waters. It will get paid off, in time. And today i feel totally down. Like I never have been before.
The last few days have been spent in my bed, a week ago I cashed out 16.000$, of course nothing of that is left. That could in my situation been life changing money, fuck-you money. But after I think about it, the amount does not matter. It could have been a million, and 99% would have gone back to the casino in a few minutes - hours - days or weeks.
I am so done with this shit. The last years of my life have been spent in isolation. No friends, no family, I am all alone. No fun hobbies, nothing. I have been to work, spent my hard earned money on gambling. Become sad, done coke. And just repeated it month after month. My brain is to the point of being so fucked, I don't feel sad or happy, with or without drugs. I feel nothing, emptiness. Even though the last years have gone by with the wind, and I have nothing to show for it except a balance that says a huge minus.
2020 is the year that my life will start once again. It has only been on pause for a couple of years, but no more. This is the time, as now there is no need to live at all. But I don't want to go yet,
I want to live before I go...

I will update this thread as life flows on, expect the first update to be on the first of January. Til then I am living in this trapped maze, that never ends.

I realized i have a problem and cant go to casinos anymore

My story. 41 yo male living with my 37 yo gf and mother of our 6 month old son. I am the breadwinner and work full time while she stays home with baby. My drug of choice has been blackjack tables at my 2 local casinos. It has not just caused me financial issues but has givin me too much anxiety and depression and even when i am winning big i cannot stop. As i was soaking in the hot tub this morning from my comp room night i had some deep soul searching and am no longer going to gamble. Its not who i am.
My ignition into the gambling world started in 2014 when a friend of mine invited me to laughlin nevada for a gambling trip at the tropicana hotel. I mainly just played the slots there. By share fluke i made $500 on one lucky spin. I got that first taste of that rush and excitment to chase more wins and tried roulette and bombed horribly bring me form 575 bank roll to 325. Fortunatly it was a short stay and drove home. From 2014-2017 i took about 3 more trips there and that was all the gambling i did.
Then on my birthday 2018 my new gf at the time took me to my local casino for my birthday and gave me 100$ gambling money which i took to the BJ table and burned thru it horribly, although I was not very preoccupided with gamblng that day because i was having drinks with her and we had other fesivities going on.
But a couple months later i started to read up on blackjack and memorized basic stratagy 100% by playing apps on my phone and then realized i could go back to that casino with much better odds. I went back and won big. close to $1,000. Then the chase for that high never went away, gambling has been a big roller coaster of Happy cheering winning moments, to very stressful and anxiety racking losing moments.
Since then ive been secretly taking trips there 1x 2x per week and secretly withdrawing money (and depositing winnings) into my bank acct which affect my family. Ive gambled away money that was needed to pay important bills. Even now the electric bill and car insurance are late. Ive used any lie or excuse to get there. Most commonly secret vacation hours used while she thought i was at work and BS OT on my day off. While i have had some really nice big wins ive lost lots of money too. I really cant take not just the guilt anymore but the psychological anxiety and stress gambling has put me through. One night as I was rocking my son to sleep after having lost $600 that day I actually cried thinking about stuff that our son needed such as diapers toys Etc, in the wave of guilt an emotion that my bank account was drained and I couldn't provide for him was the worst feeling in the world. I am too addicted. When i play BJ i am at the table all day. I cant handle it as just entertainment. Last night after coming up $800 only to dwindle it all away then being down By 150, I realize I have a big problem Its gone too far. .i am quitting for good and am so ashamed of myself. I have no one to talk to about this.
I want to quit and i don't want to ever visit a casino again. I am no longer a gambler. But my heart is hurting right now, $800 that I won and woulda helped my family and then to lose it all and become 150 down really hurt my family, theres hardly any money to buy groceries this week because of my stupidity. As I'm typing this story I am severely depressed, ashamed, but wanting to be a better person, someone who doesn't Gamble. But now my girlfriend has started to catch on to me and is disgusted and angry with me. She hates me. All I can do is try to be honest that's her, things are not well. I am so ashamed to have gotten addicted to Blackjack. I know i may get impulses to try it again after today, but I must delay and distract, I must remind myself how unhealthy of a habit it is and how it's destroying my life with my family, and wrecking my mental health. how it's making me so irresponsible with money.. I must take up new hobbies and interests. I need all the support I can get.

Ready to Tell My Story

After lurking here for a few months, I am ready to tell my story and quit this terrible, life altering habit.
It all began 10 years ago when I was involved in a life altering accident that left me disabled. Because the economy was in shambles, my legal team was, at least, able to get me enough money to cover 75% of my medical debts. I was young, still in college, and overwhelmed with the mounting debt from my disability and student loans. My mom took me to the casino one night. With a $300 gamble, I hit $10,000 and it's all been down hill from there.
Five years after, while I still thought I had gambling under control, was not in debt, 6 figures in savings, and had a decent job-my daughter was born. Her birth invigorated me to stop gambling completely, which I did for about a year. During that year, my other half started to cheat on me and all of a sudden our daughter got incredibly sick. When we lost her, my life fell apart and I started gambling to try and pay the leftover medical debt and, more so, to take my mind off everything. I still was not over my permanent disability, which I never will be, but losing my daughter made life unbearable. My ex and I separated as she turned into a sociopath (I understand that we all grieve in our own ways, but theft and lying were not something I could put up with-the only reason I wanted to work things out with her cheating was for our daughter).
Fast forward another year, it is now 2015-2016 and I had been gambling heavily to keep my mind off things. What went from casino trips with $300-500 turned into $500-1000, then to $1000-10000 each time. I started burning through my savings, cash advancing all my credit cards, and taking equity out of my home, etc.
At the same time I met a girl who I fell for instantly. Looking back on things, I probably fell for her because I was looking for an outlet. Regardless, I wanted the relationship far more than she did. She ultimately ended up cheating on me (posting ads on CL, random SLS and Tinder hook-ups while I was traveling for work, etc.) Once again, I was devastated. This sent me into an even harder tailspin and casino trips went from $10k-20k instantly.
So, with a totally unclear mind and f'd up mentality about money, I got wrapped up into a great business idea that I thought would make my partners and I millions of dollars. To this day I still believe that it would've made us rich beyond our wildest dreams, but my partners, who had more equity in the company than myself to make decisions, were terrible with the money and ultimately allowed their ego's to get the best of them. I lost 6 figures on that deal in the course of a few months and once again returned to gambling in hopes I could somehow get it back, but you know where that went.
While this was all going on behind the scenes, I was excelling at my job, bringing in all sorts of deals that were growing the company I worked for exponentially YOY. I had a nice commission contract for the deals I was putting together, but I trusted that the company would follow through on their agreement with me...well they didn't. I finally quit when they told me that they weren't going to pay me. I literally handed over a multi-million dollar contract and on the final page, I slipped in my resignation letter. Not getting paid for what I had earned doing my job was really a huge detriment to my gambling addiction as I was constantly seeking the "win" that I wasn't getting for doing my job.
So here we are today. I suspect I have lost between $500-750K over the last decade, but even more time, and it's the time I can't get back. Mixed between slots, blackjack, bad business decisions, and high risk stock options. Never had I won a sizable jackpot over this time, or have a story to tell about how I went on a heater from $2k-50k at the BJ table like so many others here. I have literally never stopped losing during this time, whether while gambling, at my job, or my home life.
I am writing this at my rock bottom emotionally. I am about $100k in unsecured debt, which I know will take me a couple years to pay off should all things remain constant, which they wont, because my life has gone that way so far.
I have seen counselors, tried AA, read Alan Carr's book, etc. but I feel like my demons are so deep and so much bad has happened in my life that I am secretly looking for ways to make it worse. That my self esteem is so tarnished that I punish myself with gambling because I know that I will always lose, and the losing feels good because it is what I am used to.
Just really needed to vent. Today is day 1, again. FWIW I am in my 30's and know I have a lot of life left to live. I just want gambling to no longer be part of it.
Thanks for reading.

I did it fellow degens, I cashed out a fat bitcoin bonus

Proof: https://www.reddit.com/usethengineer1/comments/fvmhth/i_did_it/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf
I noticed Bovada was offering a bonus for bitcoin deposits so I said why not try it during quarantine and bet on some esports well so I completed a deposit for $79 just for fun. After the deposit went through I realized that the bonus was only for casino games and it has a 50X rollover so I though I am fucked and proceeded to just gamble on black jack and losing all 79 of my actual cash then realizing it was probably over and I just got played by bovada once again. At this point I still had about $70 bonus which can only be used for casino games so I went balls deep into the BJ table with nothing to lose making $5 $10 bets then suddenly I had $300 so I was pretty happy but then realize that black jack only counts 10% of your bets towards the bonus so at this point I know I have to bet around $79,000 on BJ just to unlock the bonus almost impossible. Well, me on a Saturday night quarantined and with nothing to do I decided to just continue playing BJ just to kill time then all of a sudden I have $1000 on my account after some hands but I am still only about 10% ($8000 staked ) towards completing the bonus. Those $1000 is just paper money right there is nothing I can do if I don’t complete the bonus so I said let’s increase the stakes and see what happens so I started playing $50 $100 hands sometimes going down to $5 $10 to avoid big losses somehow it worked and I found myself at about $4000 in my account and about 50%($38,000 staked) of the bonus completed at this point I realized I can just throw down $3000 to $2000 on the slots which count 100% toward the bonus and walk away with about a $1000 which meant more than 10X my original $79 deposit so I was really happy but being the gambler I am I decided to just continue playing BJ with big bets and going up and down all the way to $1000 which meant the bonus was imposible but I just keep grinding and manage to end up back at $4000 on winnings and about 70% of the bonus completed I was really happy at that point and realized that I just needed to throw some money at the slots and I can probably walk away with $2000 so I said let’s take this one home. I proceeded to open the Cleo slot game making $20 bets and it was just standard losing most of the time and some small wins until I hit the free spins and somehow walked away with $1000 from that. then I went to the caesars victory slot and got lucky and made another $700. At that point it was like 2 AM and I was in disbelief of what just happened somehow I went from losing all my initial deposit to having more than $5000 in gains now all converted to cash I was all happy and shaking. I was thinking to go back and put it all in BJ but somehow I got smart and completed a withdraw to save myself.
I got a bonus from Bovada almost lost it all in a couple of minutes then spent about 4 hours gambling and took a big pay day home.

should i leave her? probably

ok people this is gonna be a long one because i have to give some background
Me and my wife have been together since Jr HS, that was 18 years ago, we had some rocky shit in our mid 20's, she cheated, I cheated a bunch of times....fast forward a few years we broke up and were living separately and I managed to knock her up on a drunken Friday night, In what most would call a stupid move we decided to keep the kid and get back together....fast forward 10 years, We got past all the immaturity and dumb shit from our 20s, then last week i wake up and shes in the other room sleeping but her phones on the nightstand, now i have known her passcode to get in her phone for years but I never have because I never felt the need, but i honestly had a really bad gut feeling for no reason, so yeah i open her phone, BAM first text on there i see is her sending tit pics to her best friends father! WTF?!!?!?! ok, so i keep snooping, and in her FB messenger I find a chat she was having with a guy she used to cheat on me with 10+ years ago talking about how awesome that 45 min BJ was and she said we should go out for drinks instead of me being just a booty call......yeah its bad...I confront her about this and she explains it away that it was stupid and a bad decision on her part and that it was just this one time, so I tell her to give me her phone and let me recover any deleted text so confirm her story (yeah im a tech guy and its creepy i can do this). I actually diddnt find anything else incriminating on her phone but its only a few months old so i could be missing something that maybe happened prior to her getting said new phone.......BUT WAIT, there is more!
So my wife also has a gambling problem, a few years ago her father passed and left her 15-20k, it all went in a slot machine, i found out and banned her from the casino and confiscated her cards so i thought that was the end of that, but after this whole incriminating shit on her phone i told her i want full access to said phone, and upon looking at her purchase records i discover around 15-20k she spent on slot machine app FOR FAKE MONEY!!!!! This all seems a bit one sided so let me tell you right now I'm no fucking angel, I don't give her enough attention, I don't do enough shit with her and i may not be the most supportive spouse, but i also have not cheated since we had our kid, I work my ass off and i provide, perhaps that is not enough tho. Oh and on an added note i have to deal with her accusing me of cheating at least 5 times a year and defend myself for something i diddn't do......I know to most of you this is a no brainier, and i guess I'm a retard for still wanting to work shit out......so with all that said, hit me with your best shot and let me know what you think.....actually after writing this I'm pretty sure i know i am stupid as fuck......
