In the Japanese version, Characters not in the party were unable to change or learn skills nor were they able change or remove equipment. The US version allowed out of party members to change and learn skills as well as change or remove equipment without being added to the party. Also in the Japanese version, Lenneth would unequip all her skills and equipment when switching between sword and bow. The US version 'remembers' the previous setting when switching weaponry and is automatically equipped with the skills and equip. Another improvement over the Japanese version is an improved item sorting option. There are a few instances of censoring such as Badrach's smoking.
Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth PSP:
Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth lacks the improvement made in US version. Rather than re-rendering the textures of the dungeon maps, TOSE cropped and upscaled the pre-rendered images to fit the portable console's screen, resulting in severe blurring in some areas. This version also removes the anime opening movie in favor of 3D CGI, animated movie. Certain key story-sequences were animated in the same style as the opening movie and can be viewed at anytime in the Gallery option in the title screen once unlocked in the story. The combat system has been slightly refined, now allowing all melee fighters to perform a 3-hit combo as their normal attack.

Offensive Weapon Arts now increase morale when used.
Additionally, Arcana and offensive Special Arts now raise morale by a fixed amount.
Likewise, certain Enemy Arts now lower morale by a fixed amount.
Wards now affect the entire union.
Attributes required for formation upgrades are vastly different.
Healing no longer raises morale, and morale increased by Critical Hits has been dramatically reduced.
Union morale now fluctuates based on more conditions (IE: taking an action, successfully landing a hit, receiving damage, etc.). In the X360 version, union morale stayed somewhat static, usually changing when being healed, being KO'd/terminated, executing a successful Critical Trigger. It also did not drop to 0 whenever an offensive Special Art was executed, whereas it will do so on the PC.
Linking additional enemies together does not increase your Battle Rank further than having fought them separately.
Special commands, such as the use of David's Gae Bolg, are no longer interrupted by being raidlocked by a different union or having targeted enemy union defeated by an ally.
Allies now have the option to cure a friendly union's Curse status ailment via "Cure them even if it kills them!" command. This command is in the XBOX 360 version as well, but is only available when the union is Enthralled; it will not be available when the union is cursed.

Cutscenes support voice acting in both languages, but skits only have voice acting in Japanese. If you select English, you will just see the subtitles during skits. This is not a porting issue, as this is just how the GameCube version was.
While the original GameCube version ran at 60fps, the Japanese PS2 port which the PS3 Chronicles HD version is based off of ran at 30fps. The Steam version can run at 40FPS.
Random encounters occur less frequently and load considerably faster than the Dreamcast version, and EXP offered per battle is adjusted to compensate.
Graphically, the game sports mild improvements to character models, most noticeably adding individual fingers to the designs. The modifier volume shadows and (weirdly enough) point-mipmapping from the original release are still present.
One of the new sidequests available is Bounty Hunting. Sailor's Guilds offer information about each person on the bounty list as they are unlocked through story progression. After reading about them, they can be found in a constant location.
There are a number of new discoveries to be found.
A whole additional epilogue has been added, The Answer. This chapter is only available in one difficulty setting, which is supposed to be on par with Persona 3's Hard mode.

From previous versions, two difficulty modes have been added: Beginner and Maniac alongside Easy and Normal in Persona 3 and Hard in Persona 3 FES:
A new tactic, "Direct," has been added to the game, allowing control of the party members, unlike Persona 3 and Persona 3 FES.
The "Wait" command is replaced with the "Defense" command, and will decrease the damage and any knockdown effects of the next attack the user suffers.
The game grants "1 More" to a combatant who attacks multiple enemies not knocking all of them down; the original Persona 3 required all hit enemies to be knocked down for a 1 more.
Party members who have been knocked down no longer spend the turn by getting up and can act as soon as they stand.
Upon landing a critical hit or striking an enemy's weakness, party members can follow up with a co-op attack.
Fusion Spells from the original Persona 3 are now activated from items instead of equipping a persona and selecting it like other spells.
Allies can now take a fatal blow to the protagonist for them if they are able.
"Dizzy" has been added as a status effect.
Returning to the main lobby in Tartarus no longer automatically restores the party, and must now be done for a fee via the save point (this cost varies based on the date in-game and status effects currently inflicted on the party)
Floors can be directly returned to from the entrance of Tartarus instead of being restricted to the restore point like previous versions.
"Tired" status no longer is inflicted during Tartarus exploration, and is inflicted to all used party members after leaving (this will only drop to "Good" if the character used was at "Great" during exploration).
Unlike previous versions, money found by party members when split up will now be given to the protagonist.
Party members' equipment and status can now be accessed at any time from the pause menu, unlike in previous versions, which required the protagonist to speak to them while exploring Tartarus in order to change their equipment or view their status.
You can now control Party members directly.
The protagonists only have access to one weapon type (instead of having access to all weapon types like in P3 and FES); the male protagonist wields one-handed swords, and the female protagonist wields naginatas. As a result, the Skills "Fist Master," "Bow Master," "1hdSwdMaster" and similar skills have all been combined into a single skill called "Weapons Master." Its skill card is called "Phys Boost," and all Personas which had learned a "master" ability (like Cybele with Bow Master) now learn "Weapons Master."
Personas now have the ability to produce a Skill Card when raised to a specific level. Each card can be used on any Persona to teach them a skill.
The Inari Sushi in Naganaki Shrine no longer grants random bonuses for item gaining and Tartarus explorations. Instead, it offers to duplicate Skill Cards, which will take 5 days to complete

Obtaining Quickenings no longer affects max MP and Mist charges do not diminish when MP is consumed (unless the player is affected by a reversed Elixir or Megalixir). The player's MP is also unaffected by the depletion of Mist charges. However, effects that recover the player's MP will also restore Mist charges. One Mist charge is granted each time the amount recovered totals the player's maximum MP. Effects that fully restore a player's MP recover all Mist charges.
You can now fully control Espers, they also require MP to cast magicks
Almost all attacks now break the 9999 damage limit from the original by default.
New items have been added, such as Cura Mote, Bubble Mote, Domaine Calvados, Baltoro Seed, Dark Energy and various Meteorites.
Bacchus's Wine now has 100% chance of inflicting Berserk (previously it was 50%).
Several equipment pieces were added, while some available in the original release were removed or tweaked.
New Weapons added.
Most shops had their assortments changed. Many weapons are now available from shops earlier because of the job system, and were thus made weaker.
Treasures respawn by moving just one area away as opposed to two. Treasures were moved around, changed the items they can give, or were removed altogether. The "forbidden chest" concept was removed, that in the original prevented the player from obtaining the Zodiac Spear in Necrohol of Nabudis if they opened a wrong treasure.
Dark Matter can no longer be acquired from the bazaar, and selling the ingredients needed to make it in the original will result in making the Dark Energy instead. The Dark Energy is an item that does not charge up with Knot of Rust or Devour Soul and always deals 50,000 damage to each enemy in range.
Treasure chests are now in different locations and contain different items.
There are more traps throughout the map.

The map has been moved to the main screen and can be removed and resized with the press of a button (the Switch has only one screen) or by using the touch screen icon.
The teleport spell has been mapped to a dedicated button. It can still be used from the touch screen.
You can now change the voice acting language between English and Japanese.

How to Change Vault Contents for the Diamond Casino Heist (Improved) [GLITCH]
PS4 / Xbox One This works similarly to this method which is on PC. Most of you probably already know the whole cancel while inside the Casino part, if so skip to Step 6. Video Instructions
Instructions:
Go to your Arcade and start the “Vault Contents” Prep
Go to the guard and hack his phone
Go to the Casino and identify the vault contents
If it isn’t the Vault Content that you want then call Lester (while still inside the Casino) and select the option that says “Cancel The Diamond Casino Heist”
Go back to your Arcade
6 Change your spawn location to “Arcade” or “Last Location”
Go to the prep board and pay to set up the heist again
At this point your vault contents may have changed to what you wanted. If it hasn’t changed to what you want then:
Disconnect from the Internet, this should force you into Story Mode. On PS4 go to Network Settings and uncheck “Connect to Internet”. You could also close your game.
Load back into GTA Online (Invite Only loads faster)
Your prep board should be blank and you should now have the option to set it up again. Pay to set it up
Ideally your vault contents would of changed to what you want, if not then repeat steps 8, 9 and 10 until you get your desired vault content. In my opinion, this is better than repeatedly doing the entire mission if you don’t get the vault contents you want when returning to the Arcade.

This is a long post, restricting gambling websites through screentime but it works. If you have experience with screentime then you know this stopped working because they added a “forgot passcode” feature but I found a way around that. This is my guide on how to block gambling websites on the iphone. This is usefull for the people who know how to bypass gamban, betblocker etc and found out that those apps are worthless. Or just for people who hate them apps because it makes their phone slow and what not. Please note you MUST have no passcode set on your iphone to unlock it, because it sucks but I just found a way while writting this guide to bypass this with that. I’m not sure about face lock feature because I never used that on my iphone xs max. I did this a week ago, there might be a few minor mistakes because I am unable to check this on my phone now because I have restricted being able to access there steps so make sure do double check everything. This only works on iphone, update your phone to latest ios 14. 1) Go to settings > screentime on your phone. In the beginning if you need to setup a password just choose 0000 so that we can get all the steps done. 2) Click on content & privacy restrictions, then swipe content and privacy restrictions to the right so that it green as its on now 3) Now this depends on how you gamble, if your a person who downloads apps and plays through that, then you can click itunes app store purchases and just disable you being able to download new apps, I personally dont, I play through websites on the phone so I Click on content restrictions. 4) click on web content, now you can either go hardcore and choose allowed websites only ( this will 100% block you from gambling because yeah, you can only visit websites that you have allowed in the page ) I personally didnt choose this as this can be a bit too much because I also want to be able to use my phone for google and what not so I choose limit adult websites. Now yes this means you cannot watch porn anymore but if you do want to be able to watch that, then you can just add the websites you wanna keep on watching at "allowed websites" 5) now.. you start adding all the websites that you always play at on section 'never allow' also try to google as many websites as possible so that you dont create an account on a website you never played before, seriously take a day and write all the websites in there. I usually gamble through crypto so I took 2 days litterly finding all crypto websites and ive put them in my list. You cannot bypass this methode with vpn and stuff like that like you can with gamban so yeah it will do the job. Only way to bypass this method is to do a hard reset on your phone, but that would erase everything so is it really worth it.. as it takes alot of time seriously and by that time you already hopefully lost the urge to gamble. My tip is go on askgamblers website and find there also as many websites as possible, also maybe block the websites where you get your crypto etc.. be creative and figure out how you can get the max out of this. 6) I also blocked siri from being able to web search incase you can bypass and visit websites like that not sure (this is not a must) do it if you dont care about siri. 7) Now create a recovery key on the iphone. To generate a Recovery Key in iOS, go to Settings > account name > Password & Security and tap Recovery Key. I cant even remember how long this key was, its about 15-25 digits. I DID NOT WRITE MY KEY DOWN. Keep listening what I did, you can if you want but the key is the reason why this works. 8) Now I changed my iphones icloud password, into the key as that being the password. Because its random words, I wont remember it. Because with your icloud your able to recover the screentime passcode and you wont be able too because it will ask for your recovery key, thats why this works. 9) Now I created a account on futureme.org (Website where you can send your self a email to the future). And I set it so that my recovery key would come in 180 days from my date 17 september. You can do less, or you can do other ways if you want but this is what works for me because your unable to view that email earlier then its sent out etc plus the customer support wont let you view it earlier so dont waste your time emailing them as it takes them anyway atleast 2 months to reply lol. Because only with this key, your able to recover your password that your about to set for screentime. 10)click again on content and privacy restrictions and go down, click on passcode changes dont allow and account changes dont allow. You see, you can only recover your iphone recovery key through your iphone it self basically because you will try go on your laptop or safari and recover it, because you dont know the recovery key then it will ask you to confirm it on your phone and finish the recovery through your phone but because you just did this step 10, you wont be able too so your stuck waiting untill future me emails your password. 11) This is the final step, before you do this step make sure you check everything 10 times.. so that there are no mistakes. go to screen settings on your phone, click on change screentime passcode, in the beginning you set it to 0000 now your gonna set it to something your not gonna remember. Your not gonna use futureme for this because you already did that with your recovery key and thats all you need to recover and change your password. This part can be annoying because its not that complicated to forget A 4 digit code. You can ask someone to set this for you and basically try to tell them not to remember the code. Please dont give that code to someone and try to let them hold on to it, we both know this shit doesnt work and your gonna get the code out of them and your gonna fuck up again. Because of futureme, you GOT TO WAIT. NO BS around it thats why I love it. What I did was, I just kept on creating sooo many password changes in a row untill I got confused and forgot what code I just setup and thats how I did it, cant remember mine currently so it works for me. Before you do step 11, the final step where you set a new 4 digit passcode and decide to go on this lockdown forever how long, please make sure to check everything and make sure your unable to visit your websites and get as many websites as possible. Also seriously basically try to hack your self and see if you can, so that you know if you made a mistake or not. I tried to get in for hours before doing this and it didnt work, seriously no way around it. If you forgot your recovery key, you gotta go on iphones website but then you its gonna tell you to look for a notification on your phone and to finish it through your phone but because of step 10, you wont be able too because you disabled passcode changes etc through the phone. My advice for the pc/laptop is to download gamban or betblocker. It works on there, only way around it there is to go on a vpn but yeah, nobody is stupid to risk that and have the casino block their winnings because they are on a vpn lol but for the phone people we all know how easy it is to bypass those apps but with this you cant as its from apple it self. Any questions feel free to ask. I hope i didnt miss anything thats why check for your self before you enter the real 4 digit passcode. Also do not have a passcode on your phone for screen unlock, I personally found a way to change your icloud password with this and that fucks it up. If you have no passcode setup then that way it ask you for your recovery key, which you dont know. Cheers!
An excellent example of how unsecured IoT devices allowed hackers to make off with valuable data, happened two years ago at a North American casino. Hackers infiltrated the casino’s network through a lobby fish tanks’ IoT device designed to automatically adjust temperature and salinity and stole over 10 gigabytes worth of high-roller data. The IoT device in question was no different than, say, a smart-thermostat you would use in your home, and attacks like this demonstrate that these devices are seriously lacking when it comes to security. How safe are they in your home?

The society has said not enough is being done to strengthen the security and privacy of connected devices. In the meantime, the number of IoT devices is increasing and is expected to reach 20.4 billion globally by next year. Most devices are still poorly secured and vulnerable to cyberattacks. The security of the connected devices in your home is only as good as the weakest link. Many unsecured IoT devices like smart bulbs, CCTV cameras, alarm systems, or even baby monitors, connect through a smart app on a mobile device. Even though they aren’t directly connected to other devices you may be using in your home, the fact that they’re on the same network, when it comes to a hacker gaining a foothold on your network, these unsecured IoT devices are an easy entry point.
Protect Yourself
Easily hackable devices expose owners to a range of security nightmares; chief among them is access to your wireless network. Some devices connected to your network will store Wi-Fi passwords insecurely, allowing a hacker to gain access to that smart device to get your password and potentially see everything you are doing online. It’s important to class your Wi-Fi router like the front door to your smart home. Make sure it’s using the latest software, has the strongest security protocols (like WPA2) and you’ve used a unique and complex password to protect it. Another solution is to have your IoT devices on one network (connected to a separate router) while your computers and mobile devices are connected to a separate network. This way, any less than secure IoT devices are not connected to the same network. Finally, use a VPN. Many higher-end routers will have this feature and we strongly recommend using it. Otherwise, software VPN like ExpressVPN or NordVPN is a good solution to mask your IP address and encrypt all your network data.

As aforementioned, security is of the utmost importance when it comes to IoT devices, and with these connected devices becoming omnipresent in our homes, educating yourself on the security implications can go a long way towards protecting your home. Online courses on IoT security and privacy are plentiful. The courses listed by IoT Tech Trends include dynamic courses from providers like Coursera, IoT Security Foundation and Udemy. The courses vary from basic to more advanced and for the most part, are provided online.
